Toy Story 3

I know these Disney tie-in games are typically meant for kids, but I'm such a huge Toy Story fan that I'm really thinking about picking this up. I know it's probably ridiculous on my part, but is anyone else with me?

I honestly have it preordered. LOL

Likewise, love the Toy Story movies, but now my son is a Buzz maniac, so he'll go crazy watching and even playing a little with it. So it's a no brainer.

Awesome, so I'm not a COMPLETE nerd... Well ok I probably am, lol.

Either way I'm preordering tomorrow along with Red Dead Redemption. And I'm not gonna lie, this open world toy box stuff could be some serious mindless toy fun, haha.

For the 3 people who care, the game is awesome!

Haven't tried the story mode, going to see the movie on Friday and didn't want it spoiled.

But the Toy Box mode might be where I spend all my time anyway. It's essentially like a GTA for kids, where you're using Buzz, Woody, or Jessie (or Zurg for PS3). I mean, you're not carjacking people or anything, but it's an open world where you run around doing what you want. You build up the town and can edit the colors of buildings and what not. The town is the town in Woody's Roundup. Then there are people who want you to complete tasks for them. And you can do these however you see fit. Adding in races and other tasks, the game is fun as hell.

My son loves Buzz, and he was loving moving him around or watching me move him around.

With the Toy Box mode, it definitely doesn't feel slapped together for a movie tie-in, it's very polished.

Fun, fun game.

My son is addicted to this game, we got it yesterday and he played non-stop. The graphics are really incredible IMO. I watched him play through the Buzz level faithfully recreated from the beginning of Toy Story 2. I always thought it would be cool to play through that, and now we can. Highly recommended gaming for kids and kids at heart.
