Got a dilemma (regarding XBOX)

Hey guys. I got a dilemma regarding the XBOX. See, I already have a PS2, and I love it. I play a lot of sports games on PS2 such as High Heat, NCAA, Madden and stuff. But, besides the GTA series and the Smackdown series (which I love), the PS2 isn't getting it done. I am DYING to play games such as KOTOR, Halo, RAW2, Inside Pitch and all the other XBOX exclusives. Now, here's the dilemma. I WON'T get a rid of my PS2. In fact, I am only really keeping it around for Smackdown:HCTP. So trading in the PS2 won't happen. But, like I said, I am dying to get an XBOX for the exclusives. I also wouldn't mind playing some of the games such as Inside Pitch, Fever, ESPN NFL Football and all the other XBOX Live games, but XBOX Live isn't the TOP priority, more or less something cool to go along with the XBOX. Now, I have around $100 saved up already, and am heavily thinking about purchasing an XBOX that already comes with an S controller. My question is, is it worth it to get the XBOX?

Like I said, I really only keep the PS2 around for the GTA and Smackdown series. I am also DYING to play the XBOX exclusives, mainly KOTOR. And like I also said, XBOX Live would be cool, but I wouldn't be able to get it for a while since buying an XBOX would strip me of all of my cash.

In your guys opinion, is it worth it to get an XBOX if you are in my position? I also don't really know about the future of both systems, so a little info. on what is to come for the XBOX is also appreciated.

Buy the Xbox, I own all three consoles and love it! I don't know how old you are, but getting a job would help cut the cost. Even if your only working for 10-20 hours a week, the cash will add up.

But if you only have $100, I say do it unless you have other things to spend it on.

Yeah, I am only 16. But, I do work with my grandfather frequently. Problem is, he just had knee surgery, and he's off his leg for a while. I imagine I can do some things around the house for cash, or find some cash somehow.

Yeah, I am only 16. But, I do work with my grandfather frequently. Problem is, he just had knee surgery, and he's off his leg for a while. I imagine I can do some things around the house for cash, or find some cash somehow.

if you can afford it I'd go for it, but if you really can't afford it then it's not worth it....Xbox won't be going away soon, and there are a lot of great games on it

I own both Xbox and PS2 and I couldn't be happier...buy no doubt

Do you play your PS2 online?

From what I hear, Vice city is coming to the xbox and that when the exclusivity ends with Sony(after the next GTA game) the previous aswell as the new games will be coming to the xbox. I don't play wrestling games but from what i've read Raw 2 is going to be really good and a great subsitute should you decide to trade in your ps2.

Also, have you considered a part-time job outside of working with your grandfather?
