It's just the first part that is free, been that way for 6 months. You notice it's only a 2GB download.

Looks like ya just missed it, Microsoft does these things every once and awhile. The tricky part is finding them while they are still free, I have a bunch of games that I got for free.

It's been set up like this for at least 6 months. Previously, they had the game divided into like 4 or 5 parts with the first part free and the rest being about 10 bucks. It didn't make much sense, because it added up to $40+ while most retailers had it on the shelves for $29.99. Now that the game is down to $19.99, they brought the online price down to match that, but you can still get the part 1 for free.
