I would hope so. I heard you can go dancing for one of the dates, so if they don't use the balance board that would be a missed opportunity.

I have enough faith in the developers than I am sure they will incorporate everything we could possibly want and more.

Hopefully they have a good enough player editor so you can edit Pesse Jalmer to match the real thing

The Developer told me, basically, if it's in the show, it's in the game. That's their motto. Sounds familiar, but I can't put a finger on where I've heard that before.

They know that this property is huge for so many fans and want to make it right out of the gate.

He also said that they chose the Wii as the exclusive platform for the pure power of Nintendo. That Microsoft and Sony were begging them to release only on their system, offering millions to get the license.

I'm really getting hyped, they have really seem like they know what they are doing and I feel will really capture the intense feeling of the TV show.

EDIT - oh, and no balance board support, they said it would have felt tacked on. With something this great, they want nothing to feel tacked on. They have a new engine that will work the dancing on the dates, they are planning to debut it soon. We're talking major strides here from past dancing games.

Warner Games Studio has announced the Limited Edition of The Bachelor Game
set to release on Nintendo DS and Wii gaming systems.

The Limited Edition - Called "The Playa's Edition" will include game packaging resembling a "Little Black Book" and 3 free movie tickets. "1 for you, 1 for your date and 1 for your dates ugly friend"

Included in all DS games will be "Condom" wrappers filled with screen wipes and 2 free stylus'

FYI, just talked to one of the developers on Twitter. He said they pushed hard for dreads, but couldn't get them in this year. Sorry.

Also, there is DLC coming soon after release. Supposedly this mode is called "Paparazzi Mode". What happens is it's a 2-3 hour gameplay mode after the Final Rose segment. It can lead up to your wedding which then you try to get ABC viewership up and concentrate on the ratings. The only downfall is that they pre-programmed in the producer of the show hitting on your bride, and sometimes sleeping with her, disrupting the whole thing.

The developer also stated that they have confirmed, when you pick your tux or your clothes for dates, you can edit your sock color. I know that was a big deal to a few of you, so I wanted to just confirm that and make some of you happy. He also stated, and get this, they are in talks with Bret Michaels and Flavor Flav for possible Rock/Flavor of Love DLC add-on's. So basically, if you lose, you have a chance to be chosen to be banged by both popular music stars. EPIC!!

Seriously, this game is shaping up not only to be the game of 2010, but the best game of the 2000's.

Sweet. What the additions of Flavor Flav and Brett means to me is that there could be some sort of franchise mode. I hope it's deep...

I'm going to wait a day or two after the release date then follow this thread closely to make sure there are no statistical or freezing issues.
