You were there KC, go into a private match lobby, come out, and it should work. It usually works for me, sometimes it fails though.

And these are my favorite guns so far...

Famas+Extended Mag(I don't use this anymore, but it was great at the start)
Decoys, Scavenger, Sleight of Hand, Last Chance(pro is AMAZING)

Galil+Silencer
Same set up

G11(Classified AR), noooo attachments on this thing
Same set up, but if you like another 1st perk, you can use that, it has tons of ammo

Some tips from myself...do not run in open space, make sure you walk or preferably stay on the edges of the map, the middle is a death zone on EVERY map, there is no map where this is invalid at least of every map I can think of

Shoot in bursts preferably, with the recoil in this game, you need to burst at long range, even though your natural instinct is to just fire until you are out of ammo when the other guy is shooting at you, it'll probably work out better for you if you shoot in bursts which will make for more shots plugging into the guy.

Use decoys, sometimes you forget about them, but they are great tools, maybe you are on the run after being shot a lot, throw it in another direction/at another building, maybe you know there are a lot of guys via spy plane on the other side of a hut where you can choke point them if you use a decoy and they'll all come out to kill that "person", this has happened to me before and I got 4 kills in a row(quadddd). I'll try to get a video up of that to show what I mean.

Use low killstreaks, some of them are really good, I like the 3/5/7 killstreak in this one especially. Spy plane is amazing, although don't rely too too much on it in this game, I tend to do that and a guy with ghost gets me. But it makes it really easy to get to another killstreak when you know where and when they are coming towards you. For 5 I love the napalm strike, if you plant it well you can easily get 4 kills. Care package can be good, especially if you are going to use hardline. And of course at 7 the heli, or if you can consistently get it, the chopper gunner is great.

SMGs suck in this game minus the Kiparis(Classified SMG) and maybe the MPL, except I used it today, I ran past a guy not knowing that until a spy plane went up, so I hid behind the door I came through, I was prone and the guy walks through and kills me with an AR CQC while moving around...

By default target assist on. You can turn it off in the options. I must say the lag last night was pretty bad at times. I too noticed I would knife people at close range and they wouldn't die. Same thing with shooting people, sometimes at close range they wouldn't die.

1. Ballastic knife = awesome

2. I hate people with bad connections, last night I had 3 people in the room with connection in the red, I was like WTF, why did they even let them connect with a speed that bad ?

3. LAW launcher is pretty sucky........Sometimes it will hit the helicopter and sometimes it won't, even when it is locked on. Give me a Stinger damn it, they really need to add more launchers.

4. I hate playing an objective based mode and you have people hiding back camping instead of going for the objective. I swear sometimes I can get into in a few rooms where people treat every damn game mode like it is is team death match.

Then when we lose they whine and say how come we lost ? It's like it isn't team death match you whiny kids, it is domination, which means control the objectives the most, not kill the most people duh. Get way more points controlling a sector then you do killing a person.

Why in the hell are you using the LAW? That thing sucks. I Use the Strela-3 and shoot down everything with it.

I'm thinking about returning the game. All of the COD games are just too much alike. I'm at level 6 and I don't see it as any different than what I saw from MW2 or MW1. These feel like nicely done mods and no different.

I did like the zombie level, but it doesn't have much depth.

The first day I played it I didn't think it was fun. I got to level 6. Since I came from PC gaming, I sucked since I am learning the two thumbstick gaming for FPS games. At the end of my gaming I felt like going to get my money back because I didn't have that much fun and couldn't see why this game was worth 60 bucks and the hype.

No one was in mercenary mode so it seems like that was useless.

I was afraid to go to wager mode because it seemed like a good way for me to lose my money or points, whatever is waged.

I didn't know for sure when I should begin creating my class, at what dollar/point level to begin spending so I left that alone.

The second day I played it I was only playing to see if I would like it. I found it surprising that I had some fun. Some. I have been rammed by an RC car that blew me up, and even though I knew it was going to be in the game, and saw someone else get blown up by it, it was very funny to be taken out by that weapon.

The sounds were great as usual.

I didn't try the single player portion because I already know it will be awesome, and short in length, I just wanted to play Multi to see if anything has changed in the COD series...and it hasn't enough to make me want to shell out 60 dolllars.

One thing I'm not good at is muting people fast enough. I don't want my guy sitting there being a sitting duck to get shot at while I try to figure out which 2 or 3 little 10 year olds using the F word rather liberally to mute. There is no fast way that I know of to do this.

I'm going to return my game and get two older games instead I believe, but I'm going to give it another try or two.

Sorry for being a downer.

I skipped MW2 because it wasn't different enough from MW1 to me. Maybe I'll pick it up now for what, 30 bucks tops? Don't you just love the laws of supply and demand?

picked it up at lunch, played one game on line, and crushed it it in my first game, will dive in to the single player tonight and then have some after hour multilayer, love this time of year, especially when a COD drops.

Anyways, I should (finally) be getting the game tomorrow. Can't wait. I hate seeing my friends list full of "Call of Duty Black Ops" and I'm still playing MW2, haha.
