Ok thanks to shorty, I went down to Kmart tonight and bought the X11's Turtlebeach headset. OMG, I think everybody and their mama buying those things, by the time I got there, they were down to their last 2. The lady said she has sold 60 of those things since Tuesday, I was like wow.

Yeah I don't care for wireless, so the X11's does me good. The cord is long as hell, seriously like 16 feet long. And I don't know why so many reviews said you have to buy an attachment to use it if you using HDMI.

That is not true at all. If your tv has audio out, like most newer LCD tvs do, you can just plug it in right there on the back of your tv and not to your 360. Only thing that needs to be plugged to your 360 is the usb plug and that's it.

Best $60 I spent. Takes only 2 minutes to plug everything in if you hooked up to a surround sound system.

I got them last month, been loving them when I used them in CoD4, but they don't do much in Black Ops.

Which reminds me, the footstep issue is going to be addressed in the first patch along with the party system glitches and what not. Apparently it's on Vahn's Twitter page but I don't know the link, but here's a page for the 360 folks about fixes:

The sound is just a bonus, I mainly but it because of the mic. The official $14 360 mics are crap, you have to talk loud as hell for people to hear you with those mics.

So here I am raging at the campaign, when I happen to see this article from IGN.

At the Battle of Khe Sanh, you're told to clear the trenches. What is missed by most is a nearly inaudible clue telling you that there are barrels full of napalm. And, more importantly, there's no help in telling you what to do with those barrels. Shooting them does nothing. Neither does trying to clear the trenches with one of the mounted machineguns, as the Viet Cong keep pouring out in an endless wave.

Nope, you have to run to two of the barrels and kick them down into the trench.

I can move on now...

Everytime I start up the game and play Im rusty for 3-4 matches

You could always do a combat training or two when you first get on. Bump up the difficulty to Regular or Veteran and you're good to go afterwards.

As mentioned..it is time for Treyarch to take the logical, sensible approach and nerf knifing. All I ask is if you get a hit marker against knifer while in animation, it should suspend and drop him in his tracks.

GOW2 did this with chainsawing....COD needs to take this step. Unacceptable at this point.

I always said keep it the same but make it a piece of equipment. Its rediculis that one of the only one hit kill weapons is with you at the very beginning.

Ugh, it took me 30 minutes till I searched online for what I was doing wrong....so damn annoying

That isn't the issue. The issue is the Halo sword effect it has on the game with near invincibility animation and lag issues.

GOW 2...the massive letdown and crapfest it was...was smart enough to fix this...and it is time for COD to as well.

1. Candyman killed me in his gunship.

2. The servers are really messed up tonight, it is taking a long time to find a room.

3. Free all is BORING, they need it be to 30 people. That 4 - 8 players max is crap. You spend half the freaking time looking for people because everybody is camping inside of a house not moving. And playing it on Launch map is just pure hell.

4. Tried capture the flag, dumb teammates even treated that mode like team death match. Why is it everybody seem to treat EVERY mode like TDM ?
