I will say that there is not a lot of sniping going on. Personally, I like that, I've never been a huge fan of sniping in COD games just because its always been pretty easy to do. I haven't really used the snipers that much, but I haven't really had any trouble getting through the snipers in gun game. So honestly, I can't really pass that much judgement on the sniper rifles in the game. The assault rifles are fine though. I almost exclusively use assault rifles, they are great.

I agree about Assault Rifles, its more of getting use to the recoil than it being weak, but snipers are so watered down that their is no point in using them in this game and I think that is utter crap. I'd say about 5% of the people that use sniper rifles quickscope, but because of a knee jerk reaction, they had to mess up the sniper rifles.

I seriously hope this is just a rumor. There is nothing wrong with the power of the weapons in this game, people are just used to the ridiculous ease of MW2. The balance in this game is excellent, I really hope they don't mess with it.

Agreed. I've had most of my success with assault rifles more than any other gun. I find them to be just fine, this game is well balanced in my opinion.

How do you get that Nuketown secret?

I'm pretty sure you have to pop off all the mannequin's heads, but is there a specific game mode you have to do it in or anything?

Also, it looks like you have to upload your screenshots before you can post them on OS. For some reason just using the direct link from the Black Ops site makes it appear in the reply window when you're typing your post, but when you do post, it's just a blank space.

Still figuring out how to upload my videos though. I thought I did it right last night but I guess not.

I don't have that big of a problem with the latency, I think a lot of it is simply the recoil of the guns because it is a big difference between Black Ops and MW2. Latency annoys me when I'm killed after coming around a corner.

Anyway, does nobody talk during this game? It seems like most of the people who play don't even have their mics plugged in, much less use them.

I will say that Sniper Rifles are extremely weak, it should not take 3 shots to kill someone with a sniper.

Unless you get a head shot 3 shots to kill someone is about right for these sniper rifles. It's not like they are using monster anti personal rounds like the .50 cal does.

Any 360 folks having trouble keeping a group together when joining games in a party? It takes us multiple tries to get everyone in the room once we try and join a match. Any workarounds here?

We have only had success with parties in getting into the Ground War games only. I hope they fix this soon, because it'll increase the enjoyment of this game tenfold for me. We also have had some luck just using the join game in progress feature as well.

I don't see anything wrong with the power of the guns.

They seem just fine to me. I've only used a Sniper once and I've only seen a handful of people using them so it's hard for me to give an opinion of them.

You can even attach an ACOG to the revolver. I haven't done it, but I've been killed by someone doing it.

Less Kill streaks, Shotguns as a primary, and more complex maps are a few reasons I'm loving this game opposed to MWF

It's a single shot weapon so you really need to be accurate and line up your shots. I was using it with some success, but you really need to keep your encounters long - to mid range... because the FAL is lacking in close quarters situations. Also I would probably put a Red Dot on it.. as I don't like the Iron Sights.
