My brother has Reflex. Watching him play is very painful. Its also funny because he thinks he's just a good with the Wii-mote and I am with a controller. I'm pretty sure if we could somehow play each other I'd beat him about 75-5 without much effort at all.

This here! Except I probably am pushing the line for worst in the world, lol. Even when I do feel like I've had a good game, I get to the match report screen and I'm 9 and 13 or similar. Seriously though, I'm don't feel that I'm very good in the slightest, but it just burns me when I watch a killcam and I've practically unloaded my current clip into the enemy and it seems like they take 2 or 3 shots at me and I'm dead cold

A very close second for me too is when I'm shooting a guy and he somehow miraculously runs through my bullets and knifes me for the kill...smh

And thirdly, is there, or has there ever been, matchmaking that puts you into rooms with similar level players? I might be a level low teens at this point, but it seems that every time I land in a game it's with people that are level 30s and 40s or who have already prestiged and I don't stand a snowball's chance in hell.

What gives??

That is pretty much how it always is......Even on day 1 I seen rooms with everybody was in their 30s already and I was a 1. People seem to always get these games daysssssss early and have a leg up on the average person.

They suppose to have made it more balance this year by having Hardcore rooms and prestige rooms. However people who did Prestige don't hang out in Prestige rooms, they just hang out in the regular Core rooms.

WHY ?

Because they like to pad their K/D ratio playing with lesser skilled players.

I don't think I'm too good with SMGs. I'm running an SMG class right now trying to get the pro versions of scavenger, sleight of hand and marathon, and man I am going negative K/D every game. I don't care too much about my K/D but it's frustrating because I know with other weapons I am better. Maybe I should just eliminate SMGs altogether?

Try Mercenary. You still get matched up with high level players but no parties are allowed.

I never use SMG's either. I've always been partial to AR's. In fact since the day I got this game the only gun I've really used is the M16 since that was my weapon of choice in MW2, and it's gotten me pretty good results so far.

Im just the opposite. I beast with SMGs. It seems the slower I move, the lower my K/D is. When I play, I'm constantly on the move, hitting corners and flanking with my 74u. There are a ton of matches where I NEVER stop sprinting. I dont know, I might have ADD or something.

That's odd because it seems like a lot of people are using the SMG more in Black Ops and having success with it. The AK74 is popular and I've had success with it myself. Maybe you're moving too fast and need to change your set-up. Go with an assualt rifle and try to get more mid to long distance kills, it could be close quarters isn't your strong area.

Well it was an up and down day for me. I had some good games(18-5, 18-7, 21-3) and some pretty bad ones(7-10, 10-11, 5-5). I'm not noticing much difference after the patch either way.

I've not tried the AK74u, I kinda wanted to try the other SMGs because of how popular the AK74u was. I think maybe I just need to get used to the different style of play because what Doc suggested is the way I've been playing the game since day one. So either I need more time to get used to my new class, or I just am not a sprinting/SMG guy.

The reason its so popular is because there is no use in using any other SMG. Its head and shoulders the best one. Toss a grip on it with Lightweight/Scavenger, Sleight of Hand and Marathon and own. I think its the best gun in the game, with the galil second.

On the PS3 it is I know that. You cant vote for the same map twice, it blacks it out after the 2nd time you play there.

No the classified shotgun and the olympia shotgun is the best gun in the game. Those are instant kills, even with range they are instant kill.

Other then that I am partial towards the M60 with Acog scope, that thing is beast.
