      • New mode called Wager Match chooses a random mode from One in the Chamber, Sharpshooter, Sticks and Stones, and Gun Game. You wager your own currency.
      • One in the Chamber - You have one bullet and a knife, and every kill you get gives you another bullet.
      • Sharpshooter - You are given a random weapon, so you either get a overpowered, or underpowered weapon.
      • Sticks and Stones - You have a Crossbow, Ballistic Knife, and Tomahawk. Crossbow and Ballistic Knife kills give you points, Tomahawk kills don't.
      • Gun Game - You start off with a bad weapon, but every kill upgrades your weapon. The first to reach the 20'th gun wins.
      • Points such as headshots, and other bonuses are added to the team score in TDM.
      • They played 3 maps - Radiation (set in a power station), Summit (snowbound mountain base), Launch (missile base - the rocket will lift off during gameplay, and fry anyone underneath).
I knew about the clan tag etching when I saw it in the trailer.

It seems they're trying to make this like Halo with all of these game modes. Interesting.

Ok, I'm interested. One in the Chamber sounds too awesome.

            Yup.

I won't pay for it, but with my b-day right around when this comes out and Christmas, I'll probably be getting this one now.

Sticks and Stones and One in the Chamber both sound fun.

Seems a little late at this point anyways, but it doesn't sound like there will be a beta.

              VG247

Activision’s just told VG247 a rumour from earlier that Call of Duty: Black Ops was going to get a multiplayer beta is “completely false”.

Well that's a fail on their part. IMO nothing but good can come of a beta.

Intriguing. I applaud Treyarch for trying to spice things up and add new things to the game instead of just recycling all the multiplayer modes from WaW & Modern Warfare.

Yup. Bungie got a LOT of good feedback from the Reach beta and fixed a lot of the standard problems that would've easily shipped with the game and been exploited.

yea a Beta will expose that first month's worth of glitches and grief that we all we experience now without it.

I mean we will still have crap but it will be worse than if they did a beta.

I'll be fine with reach until spring anyway which by then CoD BO will have the major bugs worked out.

These new game modes sound excellent because honestly the basic deathmatches and capture the flag games were getting stale. I will definitely be picking this up. This might replace Red Dead Redemption and Gears of War 2 multiplayer for me.

Did Treyarch not learn from MW2? They should've dropped a beta.

this mode is interesting...you can play with other people (of your choice). serves like multi but without the annoying kids.

This new mode was introduced because a lot of players don't even go online. Kinda like what **** has said about Gears
                                This sounds interesting.
