Point scoring should be skewed heavily in favor of objectives in the objective modes like CTF, Domination, etc. but right now kills are too highly valued. BC2 tried to address this by boosting the value of objectives but even in that game the slant wasn't enough.

    - I've had great success with the Commando equiped with a RDS but it also feels a bit different than some of the other popular assault rifles like the Famas. That might be why people aren't loving it. Given that I've seen people doing well with the M16, Enfield, Famas, AK47, and Commando it seems like the rifles are all fairly well balanced. It's just preference and play style.

    - The servers blow regularly.

    - The party system is attrocious compared to the BC2 system. It's an embarrassment for Treyarch.
In objective games, a lot of the objective points are worth as much (if not more so most of the time) as kills and in CTF and S&D kills are worth more because of the respawn lag. I don't really see any problem with the way kills are valued in terms of over all score because the scoreboard shows exactly who is helping (though stats can lie). Plus, if I'm guarding a flag and people are just running up towards it and I keep killing them, why shouldn't I be awarded for that?

I still don't see the downside of killstreaks. Its what makes Call of Duty COD as far as I'm concerned. The only problem I have with killstreaks is that some of the care package drops are ridiculous (ie: I don't think the top 3 killstreak rewards should be randomly dropped), but since killstreak kills do not count towards killstreak rewards (great move), it takes more skill to actually get to the 11 kill streak. Personally, I don't see where CowherPower is coming from. I love COD, BC2, and played the crap out of the last R6 game and they all have the same "problems" and one isn't any better at deterring them than the other games. People complain about camping in COD, but that's pretty much what R6 ended up being after awhile and a lot of those people are really camping. But hey, if that works for them let them do it. I don't complain about people running around like headless chickens and 4-22 k/d ratios, why should I complain about the people on the opposite end?

The matchmaking this weekend was really bad, IMO. I hate coming halfway into games. I also hate being placed on a team with all 14-20 rank players (other team was almost all prestige players) who have no idea how to run a CTF game. It makes the matches frustrating when you have your whole team running toward the other flag and leaving me alone to guard our flag. No thanks.

      Question.

When I pre-ordered this game on amazon.com, I received a $20 credit. I'm looking at buying some movies for my roommate for Christmas and was going to use my credit but don't see where to do so.. can anyone help?

If you know/see an opponent shooting at a teammate and you decide to wait for him to come to you into your building or around your corner is not camping.

Those are all strategy and those are all things that I would not get pissed at because I do it too.

Camping, to me, is those people in TDM who will sit in the corner of a building right near the entrance and never move, or the people who stay back in a building away from the action waiting and waiting all match.

Moving from spot A to spot B and waiting in B for 30 seconds to a minute to see what's happening before moving to spot C is not, and never will be camping .

People complain about camping because the kill-cam only shows that five seconds where the person is crouched waiting for you to come around the corner, therefore the victim automatically assumes that you're camping.
This is what I define as camping. I don't mind if someone stays in the corner protecting a base in a objective based game.

I believe its only a credit for video games.

Why does the computer controlled characters have to be so horrible at aiming. The campaign is more frustrating then it is fun. I like the multi player, but wouldn't mind a few maps. I'm pacing myself and I don't plan to prestige because there's no incentive.

I played Gun game, for the first time. I won the first one and at one point had a 13 kill streak going. If I could, I would show it.. hopefully I can find a way to get it to upload. I also played it a second time and finished third. I wasn't doing too great and I had to do some knifing to get back in the money.

I wish people would double down more often. I don't join the other games, because $1000 is a lot to bet, but in the low wager matches the winner only gets $30 if no one doubles down.

Very rarely ever see straight up campers. I see lots of people patrolling areas, but that's fine, that's the name of the game. I patrol areas, protecting key buildings and teammates. It's not my fault you keep coming back to meet your demise.

Yeah, yesterday when me and jvalverde played domination, we basically each had a side of the map to guard, but at the end of the round, a guy sent me a message cussing me saying I was a camper haha. If you want to just run around play TDM, but if you are playing a team based game then we will guard an area.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I certainly recognize that obtaining objectives will lead to a big score in the end but I think the proportion of scoring kills vs. objectives isn't slanted enough toward objectives for the Rambo players to change their ways. Of course I also think k/d should not be tracked (only score per minute) so that the k/d junkies would maybe consider putting themselves in a position of sacrifice once in a while rather than treating domination like TDM. Just because you and I "get it" doesn't mean the incentive structure is properly encouraging team play. BC2 basically rewarded the heck out of team actions and resulted in tons of unselfish team oriented play online while this game doesn't seem to care. It hurts the product IMO.

I insta-quit out of that nonsense. If I see one of those all Prestige vs. all newer player beatdowns coming it's not worth my time or aggravation.

So last night on Hanoi this guy on my team was standing in the entrance of a gate and was blocking our teams spawn. We couldn't get past him. You couldn't jump over the gate and he just stood there would move a little back and forth. It lasted for a good 3 minutes before an enemy got 4 kills because he threw a grenade where we were at.

First person I reported, what a tool.

I had this douche yesterday in domination that was following me. I was going towards A and instead of helping get A he goes in to a building to do God knows what.

Or when they clearly see you're trying to hack or detonate a claymore by shooting it and they decide to keep running at full speed directly at you. I don't just shoot at the ground for no reason or kneel in random doorways doing nothing.
