We got the "Black Ops server disconnected" message many times the other night, I haven't been on since then, so hopefully tonight when I get on it'll be resolved.

When you guys say hit detection is bad, I disagree. Its the lag that causes it. Most of the time when you miss its either the lag or you spraying. I have as of yet had ANY hit detection problems other than when theres lag involved.

I have been playing non stop with almost no lag (3-4 green bars on all) no drops (host migration if it does) and fast game finding.

Are you sure your guys Nats are set to OPEN?

I think its different per system. Most of the issues people talk about occur on PS3.

I think I'm about to shelf this game for a while and play Bad Company 2.
It's impossible to get a consistent connection and the connection issues turn into horrible hit detection issues. .

I think you're right. It seems a lot of the 360 users have little to no complaints about the things the PS3 guys are complaining about.

Getting the G11 and the addition of CTF and HQ on hardcore has seriously helped out my enjoyment of this game. Was getting seriously tired of the wait and camp approach in TDM on hardcore and don't really care for core so the addition of some objective games keeps things fresh and exciting, plus the G11 is a beast.

I have less of a problem with the camping in TDM hardcore and more of a problem with the idiot team killers. Don't make the mistake of playing with randoms on TDM hardcore.

Barebones
Pure - Team Deathmatch on every map. No perks, killstreaks, attachments, equipment, or contracts.
Classic - Team Deathmatch with Killstreaks at 3, 5, and 7.
Team Tactical - Obj based modes with no perks, killstreaks, attachments, equipment, or contracts.

Really enjoying barebones on Black Ops. Always after a few matches on Barebones my instincts are lot sharper on Regular TDM, and I do well.

I also really appreciate the Black Ops developers allowing guests to play multiplayer on one tv. Forgot how much I enjoyed this perk from the Halo series.

I'm on the PS3 and lately things have been good. Good connection, no lag, and a game drop is rare now. Last weekend it was the opposite of this, but this week everything has been smooth. I've never had issues with hit detection, only with lag.

Started using the SPAS with silencer today and it so fun. The sound it makes reminds me of that awesome gun in No Country for Old Men. Lately I've been using the shotgun class 75% of the time. I always sucked with shotguns in previous COD games, in Black Ops I do great.

Another thing, I just love my smart teammates on Hardcore matches who run right in front of me when I'm shooting at an enemy, so I team kill them. Happened 3 times in one match earlier today. Then they get mad at me, lol.

so, my projector bulb on my DLP HDTV finally blew after 5.5 years last Wednesday. Doesn't look like I'll get a new one shipping until this Wednesday or Thursday. I'm officially hitting withdrawal from this game today.....it sucks.

i'll put this down until the patch, and then i'm getting rid of my first COD game ever.... i still have 2,3 4 Waw and MW2.......

everything about this game makes me sick.... and i loved waw made 3 montages with the bolt action rifles....

i have resorted to playing barebones, these killstreaks are just stupid.... what happened to the 3, 5 7.... that was perfect.......

i cant play ground war or domination anymore, i just had a chopper gunner and dogs at the same time and the entire other team quit, until now i never realized unskilled it made the game i got 50 kills but about 30 of them took no skill.

i love tactical gameplay but cod has lost it especially with this spawn system...........

Yes!! I loved that gun. I think I used the M14 (w/ silencer) in MW1 just because I thought it looked like that gun.

Alright...can someone explain to me the point of having the ability to choose what sensitivity level you can play at??

It just doesnt seem fair. It's pretty much an agility setting, isn't it?

I'll admit, I'm crying because I play on normal or medium setting. But, I really shouldn't mind that much because I notice the dudes that play with high sensitivity usually don't do that well.

I play on 6 myself. I feel handicapped if I play on anything lower.
