I wasn't having problems today, but I was trying to play from my buddy's house and I couldn't even connect to a game. He's hard-wire'd to a modem pushing 7.5 mbps and I still couldn't connect..
The connection issues are ruining this game. Maybe I should have waited 6 months to pick it up, in hopes we would finally have stable servers ?Comment

Just played three straight games. I was having the best games of my life in Headquarters and all of them disconnected before they could finish out.
I like this game a lot, which is unusual for me and a Call of Duty game, but I just can't handle these incapable servers. It's no fun if I can never complete a game

Yeah its definitely on the PS3 side.
I played for a couple of hours last night without any major problems. Connections were ok overall but the latency is still a bit goofy. I only had one disconnect. Though every lobby I joined seemed to end after one game.Comment

Taken from another forum. I tried it but only had time for one game and my dumb *** forgot to shut off bittorrent before testing it out so I don't know if it helped at all.
For PS3 users, there's possible hope:
There's a claim that erasing both the save data and game data utility, the online performance is greatly improved. I haven't tested it, but I have been keeping a close eye on the forums over there. Supposedly, this fix was also recommended by Vahn in a post elsewhere. The full instructions are in the thread linked above. Another thread, however, claims you don't need to delete the save data, just the game data utility. Again, I'm not attesting to any of this. Just letting folks know what some others are saying.Comment

I tried the fix and it works better, but it is still messed up. I'm at least able to get in some games now and finish some of those games. Still having the infamous "connection interrupted" and having lobbies close on me. It's not perfect but at least I can finish a few games now.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

Firing range is officially the WORST headquarters map.
I joined in a game and three of the opposing teams guy just kept camping random corners no where near the objective.. so they could build a killstreak and get a ridiculous k/d.. while their team was getting their *** handed to them. I had to back out.. It defeats the point and it makes the game suck.
This game isn't meant to be an objective based game.. people play everything like it's team death match.Comment

So, I think they should have left Hardline Pro the same, just taken the 2-4 highest killstreaks out altogether. It kind of defeats the purpose and sense of fulfilment when I go around with my SPAS-12 and rake in 11 kills to call in dogs and somebody else just calls in a care package and is able to get a chopper gunner or call in their own dogs.
