Although the maps coming out for the 360 first sucks for you PS3 owners, the good news is that it is coming out much sooner than the map packs for MW2 (or WAW). The first map packs for those games didn't hit until April (May for PS3 users for MW2). This pack hits at the beginning of February, or beginning of March for PS3 users.

As someone that never touches zombies, can't say I'm pleased with the map count and price though. Didn't mind the price for MW2 because 5 maps for $15 was $3 a map. That was a discount over the what was the standard $10 for 3 maps, which is $3.33 a map.

In this game, its 4 competitive maps and 1 zombie map for $15. For someone that never plays zombies, thats $3.75 a map, more than the other map pack setups.

My favorite maps are Launch, Firing Range, Summit.

Most hated: Nuke Town.......way too small

The thing about this game is that for some reason it just doesn't have that it factor. All the other COD games, when the maps got stale you always had Free For Alll to fall back on. This game Free For All is terrible with the max cap of 8 people only.

They seriously need to up the max cap of Free For All to 32 people with the minimum of 12 people. Hell the minimum for all maps should be 12 people. I hate playing 3 on 3 domination, that is BORING.

Only getting 2 arrows with the bow is LAME.

Only having 1 claymore is LAME.

Tactical mask is useless because 97% of people don't even use nova gas.

Sniper rifles are TERRIBLE due to how majority of the maps aren't designed for it and the fact even with high powered rifles it takes more then 3 shots to kill somebody.

SMG's are too powerful and has easily become the ultimate cheese class of choice for majority of people online.

That whole spray and pray people do with it online is annoying.

Quick Scoping being back is a bummer.

Over all........this game is just missing something.......It doesn't have that fun factor like the 1st Modernwarfare had.

Tactical Mask Pro blocks all tactical grenades.

And I agree on the player sizes. Only 8 people in FFA is boring. That is why I typically play Ground War, but with the servers being a mess on the PS3 I've noticed more problems in rooms with a lot of players.

Yeah it sucks we PS3'ers have to wait but I'm still excited for map pack news!

As for this game my favorite maps are Array, Crisis, Villa, Radiation, WMD, and Jungle.

I'm less fond of Firing Range, Nuketown, Launch, or Summit.

arghhhhhhhhhhh servers crapping out tonight.......3 games in a row now disconnect 40 seconds into a game. And prior to that, I ended up in Nuketown 4 games in a row.....WTF ? I thought they fixed that ? LOL

360 To Get Map Pack First (Like Always)

Figures, **** on the PS3 servers, then more than likely make them wait a good month for the map pack.

Microsoft signed a 3 year deal with Activision that was announced during E3. Xbox gets all map packs for the next 3 years worth of installments first, before anyone else.

I think I'm going to shelf/sale Black Ops! I went back and played MW2 and it just validated that lag in Black Ops on the PS3 has broken that game and they don't seem to know how to fix it!!!

Half the people I played MW2 with never got Black Ops and a couple others are talking more and more about going back.

Ok, I understand why they are making Stadium now that I think about it...

Also I've been going off with my M60 lately. I love taking out almost an entire team in one clip and watching them scramble madly to try to stop me.

I'm anxious for these new maps, I'm tired of getting Firing Range every 5-6 games now. It's easily my most hated map now, due to the shear amount of times I'm forced to play it.

I rarely ever see Nuketown anymore, we've played on it maybe 10 times in the last week and we play a LOT of games. I enjoy Nuketown when I get it, it's a different beast than the rest of the maps, although the spawn issues suck major balls.

I'm not as hateful towards Grid now, as I've found a better strategy that really helps me to stay positive on the map. It works extremely well in Hardcore, but carries over nicely to Core.

Jungle is now my favorite map, I have my best games on that map. You let me and my friends get control of the area surrounding sniper rock (we usually don't actually take the rock just the area around it) and it's all but over. This fact is quadrupled on Hardcore mode, because even if you know where we are you aren't making it around a corner alive.

I've been seeing a lot of noobs this week and it's making me hungry for Christmas "dinner." *drool*

Agreed on Firing Range. So sick of that map. I like Array and Grid.

Sweet news on the map pack. Hopefully it will come out on PS3 before KZ3 drops.

On Friday I was playing TDM on Havana. Threw a tomahawk while sprinting down the street at a guy halfway across the map on the second floor of the building with the larger balcony. It bounced off the wall then hit another wall then hit the ceiling and hit him in the head for a kill. I laughed for about 3 hours over that. I'll upload it to youtube when i get home.

Nuke town is my least favorite map. I did something I have never done and that is prestige level. Wanted to try some different guns I didn't use much the first time through. And I have found 2 I really like,

M16 with ACOG and Silencer
Famas

M16 is great except on real small maps.
