Commando has become my new favorite gun. Out of all the guns I think I like this one the most. Good stopping power, good distance, good fire rate.

I SMH @ most of these higher level guns that are BS. Most of them are terrible and should be level 1 type of guns due to how weak and poor accuracy they are.

Black Ops doesn't have "higher level guns." The devs said they did this to keep the game more balanced and even the playing field.

Black Ops doesn't have "higher level guns." The devs said they did this to keep the game more balanced and even the playing field.

Well it severely backfired, because majority of the people are running around with Skorpions or another type of SMG. Really not balanced with people hopping 15 feet in the air like damn frogs spraying and praying with rapid fire SMGs.

Also it makes the whole ranking up feel way less special now. Kind of like what's the point if you don't get anything for being high ranking. I was so bummed when I got all the classified weapons, I was like WTF ?????

Why is this BS of a weapon classified ?

Best weapons in the game:

SMG - Skorpion or AK74u

Assault - Commando or AK47

LMG - M60

Sniper - PSG91

Shotgun - Olympia

So basically the only weapons that takes a while to unlock is the Commando and AK47. They totally watered down way too many weapons to the point there is not point of even using it due to how weak it is in the game.

Hell even the equipment has been totally watered down. Why the heck does the radar jammer, motion detector have to be on the freaking ground for ?

Concussion is useless......

Nova gas is useless......

Ballastic knife is useless.......

Tomahawk is useless.....

Crossbow is useless, I think this disappoints me the most really, it had so much potential of being totally awesome. Thought I was going to get my Rambo on, but you only get 2 arrows and it is too much of a delay to explode, SMH

Launchers.....weak.....Hell lately more people call attack dogs and mortar strikes more often then Gunships.

Oh yeah I forgot, this little kid was on the mic singing Toy Story's "You got a friend in Me". SMH

He didn't even realize his mic was on or didn't realize he was singing it louder then he thought he was. Anyway 30 seconds into the lobby when people actually started paying attention to what he was singing, all you heard on the mic was hey kid isn't it past your bedtime ? It is past 10pm, so put on your Buzz Lightyear PJ's, crawl under your toy story bed sheets and STFU, LMAO.

Well the last 2 Assault Rifles the Commando and the G11 are 2 of the better guns in the game.

but otherwise yeah, once you unlock the Famas, and AK74u that's all you pretty much need, and you get those fairly early on in the leveling up cycle.

It's all about personal preference, the guns you may feel are the best may not be the best for others. All the guns are pretty evenly balanced compared to their class but its up to you to decide which one you like the best. Right now I like using the Famas.

The Famas is great but so is the Galil. Probably my two favorite AR's in the game.

Well, if you're anything like me, starting out 10-4 doesn't matter. I'll still manage to blow it and finish like 13-14

I've even had games where I start out like 7-0, and wind up barely at a 1.00 K/D for the match.

Well I think the Stoner and the Commando are 2 great guns. And I rotate guns a lot and do not think any guns are useless. It's all personal preference though. I like the Black Ops approach where the starting weapons aren't horrible like in previous COD games. Ranking up and earning more money just gives you more options and a variety of weapon choices which I like.

How is Concussion and Nova Gas useless? Does it not affect the enemy? Concussion is weaker then the flash but it is quicker to throw and to detonate. Nova has a wider area it affects. Every tactical grenade has it's pro's and cons. I use each one so I don't think any are useless.

How is Ballistic Knife and Tomahawk useless? They are difficult to use but they are both one hit one kill.

I prefer the crossbow only having 2 arrows. If you hit your enemy they are dead. I think of the crossbow as having 2 extra grenades. There is a delay in explosion but there is also a delay in the semtex.

I must give Treyarch there props for fixing the connection issue for the most part on the PS3! My better connection has resulted in a way better gaming experience!
