Camping is a problem on objective based maps. If your squad has all checkpoints in domination, ok, then i understand the camping of the checkpoints. If your squad doesn't then you should be trying to get those points or defending your points...not camping an un-captured chekcpoint or spawn camping. I'm sorry, but if you do those things, you should be playing deathmatch, and not an objective based game mode.

Kowloon is by far and away the worst for this. So many buildings/places to camp in and the layout of the map is just horrific. Worst map in all of Blackops.

I agree, but I don't think it's camping that's the issue. It's people who play objective-based games just to get kills. I love to play domination and cap as many flags as I can. I don't care about kills. I'll play sometimes and I'll have 7 or 8 caps and my team will lose because my teammates will have high kill totals but no caps or defends. Drives me nuts.

But the last week every match I've played has had one guy just laying in a corner waiting for someone to come through the door.

Yeah I see that a lot. Esecially on domination where a player on the enemy team will just wait by an objective, even when his team is losing, and not capture it.

It's not just a COD thing though, every FPS will have people who do this. I try to be aware of my surroundings and whenever I come in a doorway, around a corner, or near an objective I expect there to be an enemy. And if I do get killed by someone I'm not one of those guys who run right back to the same spot. I try to flank them, and most of the time get good results.

It seems like 99% of people are dumb enough to come back for more. I just kill someone move about 5-10 feet away on the map and wait for them to come back. They're so enraged that they died, that more times than not they won't even see you and you get another easy kill. The one night I basically did this all match long and I killed a set of split screeners 20 times because they kept coming back and looking for me.

I do the same thing. And whenever the enemy has a blackbird in the air, I know they will flock to the nearest red triangle they see, so I try to find an area of cover and take a defensive position and this gives me a better chance of killing them.

Well for close range encounters you need to learn to fire from the hip instead of aiming down the sites. It also helps to keep moving. What I do is circle to the left with the left stick and spin right with the stick while firing from the hip.

Raising your look sensitivity will also help a lot. It will suck at first and seem to be too fast but your reflexes will get used to it. I'd start by just going up to 3 and playing on that while. Since you are learning to aim anyway you might as well get a head start and learn on a slightly higher sensitivity.

I'll give you an example of why it helps.

You run around a corner and at the same time an enemy runs past you going the other way. You both try to spin around and shoot the other guy before he can shoot you. Whoever has the higher sensitivity is going to win this encounter because it allows you to turn faster.

^ lol Seeing 3 and high sensitivity gave me a good laugh.

I was actually pretty surprised but most MLG professional players play on 2,3,4 sensitivity.

Mine is at 3, but I am going to try 4 because I feel like I always mess up while I am aiming if they are moving around and can't turn the sights around quick enough when I do which will hopefully fix some problems. But right now I am on a nice streak...might end up sticking with Famas again- 5 game streak of 3 or higher k/d. And I know I can keep this going. I just hope I don't lose it just because I am going to stop playing to watch Jersey Shore . It looks like it is finally going good after prestiging.

I play on about a 6-7 sensitivity. It takes a little getting used to but I think moving up is beneficial. Allows you to get to your target faster, although it is harder to stay locked on that target.
