I don't understand how people are saying MW2 is a disaster because of glitches. A game played this much is bound to have glitches found that skipped past QA, and IW did a great job getting patches out to fix them.

I loved 4, but I'm trading in mw2. It's a game that's gone in the wrong direction for me. They made the shooting much worse (doesn't seem to be projectile based anymore) and it's got absolutely the most lag I've seen in a game online. I can maybe get 2 decent games out of 10 attempts. - that doesn't happen with BC2 for me among other games so it's not my connection.

I'm just flat out sick of it and view it as a broken game in many respects. I got much more enjoyment out of WAW actually. MW2 is highly overrated. I'm much more looking forward to this especially if it's 'NAM.

well it's a Treyarch game. The single player will be awful, people will love the new online modes like Zombie Viet Cong, and it will be highly played until the next CoD game is released.

I'm more interested in the Sledgehammer Games CoD action title for 2011 anyways. That and how MW3 turns out...

WAW wasn't that great and the difficulty was way too tough. When someone brings up a game with A.I. that was built to cheat making it hard to advance, this is the game I always point to.

As long as Treyarch keeps the non-infinite-respawn enemy AI like IW did with MW2, I'll give it a shot.

Put in MW2 the other night and played one match of TDM on Scrapyard. Instantly ran into the Marathon/Lightweight/Commando dude and just the frantic pace of everything turned me off. Took out game, and am considering trading it in.

Put CoD4:Reflex in the Wii.....things were much better. I don't know what it is, but I'm just feeling MW1 more than MW2 right now. Maybe it's the perks or something....

I really need a new Rainbow Six game SOON!

I loved MW1, WAW was ok and I hate MW2! Love BC2, If the next one is Vietnam I'll get it if not, I'll pass.

lol...I'm not bad at CoD, but WaW had a horrible campaign on veteran. I've beaten CoD2, CoD4, and MW2 on veteran, and WaW is far from easy. It's mostly due to cheap things like raining grenades and poor ally AI. CoD2 was technically harder, and CoD4 had that awesome airplane level, but I'd put WaW above those in difficulty.

Of course, maybe you're not even talking about veteran difficulty anyways.

This pissed the hell out of me. Like you I beat CoD4 and MW2 on veteran, but WaW I had to give up after the 6th mission, it was ridiculous. I'd get hit and I'd find cover, only to find 5-6 grenades flying at me. So I'd get up and I'd die because there was nowhere to run.

Or infinite respawns.... you could sit in the same area for 60 minutes and you'd get nowhere...

At least we'll be getting a new setting, something fresh...I'm very intrigued by the entire Vietnam theme.

It's about time we had a good console Vietnam game.

I think its more like what wasn't a disaster in mw2. The online structure was just poorly designed. Bad killstreaks, inclusion of nukes, bad perks, bad maps, dumbed down gameplay, increased camping due to all of the above and of course the glitches.

Playing COD2 on veteran was just too frustrating. I got about 80% through then got permanantly stuck. I gave up playing veteran on COD after that one.
Online, COD2 is still my favorite of the COD games. I like the level playing field.

The maps are awesome and require much smarter gameplay. You can't just run around like a moron shooting anything that moves like in the original MW. The first map also had ****ty choke points filled with exploding car and spawn points that could be hit with frags and noob toobs the first 5 seconds of a match.

And like usual you are probably one of the many millions of fools who doesn't even know what camping is. I rarely ever encounter an actual camper. When I do they get destroyed.
