So now that the maps latest maps have been out a month, you guys still like them. I had $20 credit-back from Amazon for buying LA Noire and just exchanged it for a 1600 MS point code. Thinking about picking up this map pack.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Krebstar - same BS re: the objective-based games on BlackOps...no one ever goes for the flags or objectives, so usually I'm the one guy getting blown away time-after-time trying to get to the bomb/spot/flag/whatever while everyone sits around and snipes. I still don't get why people play objective-based games if they have no intention of going for the objectives, but I guess it's to farm XP off of suckers like me that try to hold positions...Comment

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
That'd be legit, if the game actually counted all shots equally...but when you fire off 4-5 rounds right into a hit marker dead-square on someone's chest and/or head, then they fire off one round into your leg and you go down instantly, well...you can only take that so many times before you decide you want to minimize the effect of connection lag and make essentially every shot a potential kill-shot. But to each his own.
BTW, I don't doubt you guys can definitely shoot...anyway, better than me...Comment

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
I wish everyone would turn off their aim assist. I've had it off since day one and it is very challenging to play without it, but I would rather earn the kills totally by myself instead of have the game do half the work. I turned it on for a few days last week, and it's horrible. It does so much. It turns your screen when an enemy is near, snaps onto enemies, gives your claymores a bigger blast radius, aims your grenades, and gives you a bigger knife lunge. Honestly the game got boring with it on.
I really have no chance in one-on-one gunfights so I have to get my kills from further back. It forces me to be smarter and tactical, which I like.
Everyone talks about this game requiring skill, but with aim assist, it really doesn't.My YouTube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/gosjsharks14Comment

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
just downloaded the 1st map pack today ....and when I tried to get into the first strike playlist ....it says i must download the map pack....wtf?
I moved to Asia and have an Asian PS3...but I 'm playing my games using a US account....the download points i purchased were from the US...
Is there a region conflict somewhere? or it's not supposed to matter? Do I need to create an Asian account? buy Asian points? Hard to find that here in oman.
Or maybe it has something to do with PSn just getting back up....any clues??
thanksComment

I've decided to stop at prestige 8. NCAA 12 will be out in a month and my time will begin to shrink for Black Ops. After that it's Madden 12, NBA 2k12, Saints Row 3 and MW3.NFL: Green Bay Packers
MLB: Pittsburgh Pirates, Colorado Rockies
NBA: Denver Nuggets
NHL: Colorado Avalanche, Pittsburgh Penguins
NCAA: Air Force Falcons, Penn State Nittany LionsComment

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Anyone with a 2.00 K/D or higher, add me up as a friend for PSN. My PSN name is authentic_OS. I have a lot of buddies here that are 2.00+ and we are looking for a couple more so we can have 6 solid players in TD at one time. Add me up and we can game a bit.Comment
