I think i've finally hit the COD wall. I put the game in tonight and got one match in and had to shut it off. For the first time i wasn't having fun playing the game, and i'm on 4th prestige too. Maybe its playing uncharted's beta but i'm just not feeling it anymore. Ah well its been a good run. Go my money's worth out of it.

I burnt out on Black Ops a long time ago, right around when the Escalation pack came out. Not that it's a bad game, I had a lot of fun moments on it but there were just too many games where half the enemy team quit and it became 6v2 find a needle in a haystack where the last 2 guys just put on Ghost, silencers and hid in corners for the rest of the game. Also I felt the guns were a bit lacking in this installment, especially the SMGs outside of the much maligned 74u, the mp5k, and the MPL the others had serious balancing issues that made them seldom used.

Just getting back into it after months hiatus. I needed a big break from it and now play it with the newest map pack in bursts. I can't marathon it like I used to, or it gets stressful.

If you play the game a lot I'd say it's worth it to get at least 1-2 of the packs, just to bring some freshness to the map rotation so you're getting some variety and not just playing Summit, Jungle, Firing Range over...and over...

I'd say if you only play 1-2 days a week probably not worth it... if you find yourself playing up to 5 days a week or even every day it's most likely worth it for you to get the maps.

Thanks for the response. Wish the maps became free like Halo maps do.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops

I enjoy Black Ops but the hit detection is abysmal most of the time. So I went into local splitscreen with 2 controllers on nuketown and did some single and multi shots on the side of the white garage with lines. I lined up both characters looking at the same spot and the bullets on the bottom screen don't match the top. So when I shot the line on the garage the bottom screen had it below or above the line not on it like the top half. So if it's that bad for splitscreen you can imagine how bad it is for online play.

I was playing split screen online and the lag is so horrible. The game felt slower. I have no idea how people can play on the same system. I'm on the same boat as you, I enjoy the game but the god awful hit detection really pisses me off.

I have to agree. The hit detection can be all over the place, and like many of you I wish they corrected this issue.

The game is not to difficult to be accurate with , so it would be nice to decrease the hit radius, and make it where you have to actually hit your target in order to get a kill.

Other than that I love this game. I feel it is the most balanced COD multiplayer experience.

Does everyone use freaking Lightweight and Marathon!? I really enjoy the game but that, the hit detection and the crappy servers piss me off.

I corrected your paragraph for ya

Being more serious, I rarely see people run Lightweight. Hit detection does annoy me somewhat.
