What was the point of removing Danger close?

To prevent Noob Tubers from getting really cheap kills.

I am going to start playing WAW again to get ready for Black Ops. Since Black Ops is a glorified WAW.

If sniping is still like that one video I saw on youtube, I don't think the quick scoping community will die either. It seemed easier than sniping on MW2 with Marathon, but if they did change it since then, we'll just have to see to decide on whether or not quick scoping is still viable.

As for quick scopers' K/Ds, I had a 1.62 on one account that I used for gamebattles and a 2.03 K/D on my original.

I don't understand the disdain towards quick scopers. They aren't very good players and are easy to kill. I tend to do quick scoping if its out of necessity, but I am also the typical sniper, in a sense that I don't charge into the action. Sometimes, I don't have enough time to switch to my secondary to kill the enemy so I either quick scope or more preferably no scope, because it is used as a means to stay alive.

People just want to have fun in these games, I just don't understand the anger towards quick scopers when they are easy to kill anyways.

There are plenty of good quick scopers out there. I just think it sucks when you run into a sniper whos running around with his sniper rifle quick scoping, you both shoot each other but you die since it takes one sniper shot to kill you while he still alive because you were using a rifle. It stupid to me and I'm glad they disabled the quick scope for snipers. Now if we run into each other I can tear their *** up for running around like an idiot with a sniper rifles as if it is an ak47.

#AskJD In private matches can you controll who can join, because in mw2 it got annoying when people kept joining private matches...

Is there a true "designed" way to play a FPS though? I figure as long as you are in the parameters of the game then it should be fine, if you start using exploits, such as the care package or rock glitch then it should be disallowed.

Same thing with the marathon, lightweight or commando. It is annoying, but still, don't blame the user, blame the game developer for adding those in the game. The most important part of these games are to have fun, and fun is all relative.

Most people who quick scope have terrible K/D's anyway. The only person I've ever seen who can quick scope/hard scope depending on what she needs to do is ireapzz. If you haven't seen her play, go look her up on youtube, you're in for a treat.

I disagree and blame the user as well as the developer. Noob tubes, MLC, OMA, etc... are the equivalent of putting Chris Johnson at quarterback in Madden or dunking every possession with LeBron in 2k online. You can do it...it is in the parameters of the game...but it is cheese and just an embarrassing way to play a FPS online. You are shouting to the entire room I have no skill and I need my hand held because everything in the game is happening way too fast for me.
