I'm on the verge of pre-ordering. ...I wanted to stay with MAG but it's just freezing up way too much now. Plus there's the Turismo delay, which, for the time being is $60 I don't have to spend right now. At this rate, I might be able to buy that one on Christmas money....

It's not like I tired of MW2 quickly - I did prestige once. If the quick-scoping and other similar BS is gone or minimized, I can see myself playing for a lot longer. I've never played a Treyarch COD before, but it certainly doesn't look like I'll have any trouble picking up the gameplay - it looks for all the world like MW3.

So.....anyone wanna try to push me over the edge?

I think I'm gonna be trading in a game this week towards Black Ops. In Winnipeg we get a bump to $30 trade value for any game that has $8 trade value or more, so it should be just under $40 for Black Ops after I do that.

This will be the first time I get a CoD first day. Should be craziness.

Actually, I do have a good question that a quick thread search for "shotgun" did not turn up an answer for....

Are people still going to be able to use Akimbo shotguns in this game? I understand that they've been made into primary weapons as opposed to secondary, but I don't know if that by itself would fix the problem of those dual-wield shotguns owning anything at close range. People just ran around with those things and completely ignored their primary in MW2 sometimes.

bcruise, there are two rumors going on right now.

1. Only pistols and machine pistols are akimbo.
2. Yes, Shotguns are akimbo again. But, since they are a primary gun right now it will be better balanced.

*Personally, I believe #2 probably has more truth to it.

You could only akimbo the rangers and 1887's in MW2. None of the regular shotguns. All the shotguns in BO are regular so I doubt they can be akimbo'd.

I have a question, isn't Ninja Pro supposedly undetected on the Heartbeat sensor? I've been watching these Kill Cam's and they people have found me using Heartbeat sensor.

There is no heartbeat sensor in Black Ops. It's a killcam glitch in Modern Warfare 2.

Paid off my pre order today, now the wait truly gets long. Played a few rounds of MW2 at a friends today was kinda surprised how easy it was to run and gun and decimate people since I've been playing MoH. This game is going to be huge fun, I love the CoD maps, Treyarch or IW, it don't matter.

My free wifi internet in my apartment complex sucks, so I'm getting internet hooked up in my apartment. I want to be ready for this game!!

I wish it was coming out this week, my wife will be out of town this week so it would of been perfect timing. Oh well, I'll just tune my skills on MW2.
