Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops

Got my game yesterday and i was playing the game from 7:00pm to 10:30pm. I played 3 team deathmatch combat training games and after that all online rank team deathmatch games. Im at level 16 right now trying my best to get to the hardcore matches because I cant stand using a almost a whole clip on a person to kill them then the person standing behind kills me because I have to reload.

Here's a couple things I notice when playing (FYI I have never played CODWAW I have only played COD4 and MW2)

*How they have the classes and perks set up I love. I played a handful of games last night and only saw 1 noob toob. The reason for is because you have to use your COD points to purchase attachments and perks. So people are not wasting there points on toobs when they can get a ACOG scope or red dot scope

*When being in the lobby it wasn't taking long to get into matches so glad they didn't waste there time putting in the merging lobby feature like MW2. Also when you have 3 options to vote on maps now. You can vote to play previous map you just played again, Vote to play the next mapon the playist, or vote to a random map. the best thing about it if you just do a regular map they show u what map you voting to.

*So glad they made shotguns a primary weapon instead of a secondary. Even though I used to take advantage of this on MW2 this make people think twice about pulling them shotguns knowing they don't have a backup gun that

*I haven't played hardcore deathmatch but in reagular I am having a lot of succes with SMG compared to assualt rifles. I think the main reason is because the reload time is extremly slow with these guns. Sniper rifles are kinda slow to get your breath but i hold judgement on that tell I get the sleight of hand pro perk.

*There will always be camping spots in shooting online games but a lot of the maps have multiple ways of getting into bulidings so you will have to watch your back

*I haven't had a lot of success with some of the kill streaks gotta get used to driving the remote control car. I guess im going to have to take some time and learn how to master these kill streaks.

*Gamplay is slower but not a drastic change

*Stats are recorded better during the game when you are checking your kills and death it gives you your KD ratio on the spot. It's nice to know majority of my games I played yesterday +2.0 in my KD Ratio

This all i can think of right now I can say I am really impress with what I have seen in the game and I know it's going to get way better when Im playing with a full party and my Fyou clan. I enjoying my moment of COD without a bunch of little kids online playing dumb. I will get back with yall with more imppressions when I get off work and play some more.

      This game is awesome!

      I love the maps.

I had sensitivity at a 4, but it was too much for me.

Like KC said, there seems to be multiple ways to get into each building.

I love the maps as well.

        My favorite is Jungle.

Nuketown is also fun. I love using the shotgun on that map.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops

I can not get enough of this game.

It is weird seeing myself as the highest ranked player in most of the matches I've played, that never happens lol.

I have not died by a noobtube once. In fact, I've not seen one player use the noobtube once.

I have died by knife a few times, but that is because the enemy came from behind or I just didn't see him.

I have not died by quickscope yet and no one has attempted to quickscope against me.

Killstreaks are not overly dominant. You have to take cover obviously but I'm not getting massacred by killstreaks like in MW2.

The maps are really really good. Every building has multiple entrances.

Everything seems very balanced so far. And there is nothing like killing enemies with my skull repticle on my M16.

Yea everything is good so far, although I am lagging quite a bit, maybe that's because there are no tristate...nyish games.

I've only lagged in 2 games and both were last night. So far connection has been very good.

I have only been killed by an noob tube once and been shot at by one like 4 times.....Its much more ballanced IMO.

I will also agree that the killstreaks are not as dominate as MW.....It actually makes playing outside of Barebones great. I think it also has something to do with killstreaks not counting towards killstreaks.

I'm sure the noob tubers will be out in force on release day, at which point I'll probably be using Deft's flak jacket idea.
