Most of the games listed have a demo...I would demo everything before taking the next step.

these games are cheap as hell though, so it's not like you're out much if you end up hating one.

Yeah all those games or 99% of them are platinum hits now and cost $20. I would also add.........

Other then that no doubt the following games will last your for months if not the rest of the year.

I disagree...if you are starting from scratch...you are honestly talking about upwards of 30 360 games (and even more). People forget how nasty the 360 library is...and all those "cheap" games add up. He should go on a demo spree because they are all representative enough of the final product (especially the older games and demos).

If you like flight sims, the closest thing on 360 is 'over g fighters' although good luck finding an online game lol.

i agree with condemned and #2 was good as well, but there was something about #1.

It's honestly hard to remember though. As someone who doesn't keep anything (doug williams pinball and apf2k8 are the only games I haven't traded in) it's really hard to go back without going on a website and sorting by date and going "oh yeah, that game was great..." I'd say the 360 has had a steady stream of awesome since launch though - I've gone through over 40 games by now.

If you like driving games, I recommend Test Drive Unlimited. That was one of the first 360 games I bought a number of years ago and I've never traded it in. Love driving around on O'ahu.

I honestly think there should be a thread started of a comprehensive list of "get/rent/pass" games from the beginning. I know there are still a ton of games that I haven't touched yet that I still need to get my hands on.

If you like driving games, I recommend Test Drive Unlimited. That was one of the first 360 games I bought a number of years ago and I've never traded it in. Love driving around on O'ahu.

yeah, I was gonna mention that one, but it's also heavily dependent on the online aspect. I don't know how the community is now, as it was kind of going down even when I played the hell out of it in 2007.

Yes.

I wish they made a PS3 version of that. It's the only 360 game I miss having sold my console. The GameCube version I have that I play on Wii just doesn't cut it.
