This is one of the few games I buy that didn't have online and that says a lot about the game for me anyways. I watched that trailer earlier and I love what I'm seeing out of this game. I don't expect the 3rd iteration of this game to disappoint and if online is fun I'll be keeping this game even after I beat campaign mode.

Once I beat a game that doesn't have online, more than likely I'm not keeping it unless it's really fun for me to play by myself. Online would keep this in my line up if it turns out to be good. Also the map is supposed to be 3 times bigger than the last one if I'm not mistaken so I'm definitely looking forward to that.

I can't speak for Dead Space 2. But having experienced the multiplayer aspect of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, I can only apologise for imagining those cynical associations popping into your head. This is an interesting, engaging and welcome addition to the series, and it's quite different to anything already available on consoles.

To say that I was impressed by the multiplayer in Assassins Creed: Brotherhood is an understatement. While it may struggle to compete with the FPS big dogs of multiplayer, it certainly offers a new online experience unlike anything currently on offer.

Gamespot

Though we had fun, we did find some niggles with the beta build of the multiplayer. At times it was difficult to see who our targets were, even after we had identified them, meaning we often killed civilians by mistake. It was also impossible to escape assassination once our opponent had hit the button on his controller, meaning that even if we spotted him just before, there was no way to avoid our death with a timely button press. Despite this, Brotherhood’s multiplayer is a lot more fleshed out than we expected. A full levelling system, along with customisable abilities and characters means there's a lot to get stuck into. It also shares its single-player counterpart's good looks, with a large amount of detail on show in each location. Also impressive is the number of NPC characters on each map, which makes each locale feel like a living, breathing place, and without any significant amount of lag.

Nice video of multiplayer.

I have a feeling though the smoke bomb will be 2 effective but, we'll see how this is all worked out. Maybe they have something to counteract that ability but, I can definitely see that being used the most used ability by a lot of people online.

The beta is suppose to be up for PS3 today. Just wondering if anyone has played it yet. I need to stop by Gamestop tomorrow and pre order so I can play the beta.

If you have Playstation Plus its free to download and get in.

I honestly think it will get old pretty fast....you are basically just running around chasing guys until you get close enough to assassinate them....be it I only played the one game style....I'm not deleting it yet but other than looking good with cool characters....i think it would just get pretty old fast.

Just preordered through Amazon, and got $15 off my next video game purchase, plus some downloadable armor. And I had $10 off from a prior purchase.

So $50 bucks for same day shipping, and $15 off Gran Turismo or another game of my choice. I love Amazon, and will soon love this game like I did AC2.
