I hope you can turn off the red flashes on the side of the screen. They always makes me nauseous in fps games.

Is there a beta for this game ?

If so, when is it and how do I get in ?

I'd guess if there is going to be a beta we will hear about it in the next month or two. I personally doubt there will be one.

Although, now that I think of it, DICE usually does have an open beta (BF3, BF4, hardline).

Just an update but it was announced that a closed alpha will begin on july 2nd for pc only on origin. Registration is now being accpeted which closes on june 30. People will be chosen at random. http://mp1st.com/2015/06/26/star-war.../#.VY2d9BtVhBc

When I click on the link and go to it, confirming my application takes me to a newsletter signup. Is that right? After I signup, that's it. No application completed message or anything regarding the alpha.
