Glad I watched it all.

I'm going to preface this with saying I pre-ordered this game and I'm getting it. I don't want people thinking I'm dissing it.

I definitely wasn't impressed with what I saw, graphically it looked great but the action was just 'meh'.

Now if we're talking epic battles with lots of aircraft overhead and vehicles on the ground with tons of jetpack troops then Planetside 2 is where it's at. I feel like 20 v 20 is going to be so underwhelming after playing Planetside 2. But that's just me, I'm sure I'll enjoy it once it releases.

From what I've watched so far...

Likes:
-looks really good, and sounds incredible as well.
-it's star wars

Dislikes:
-Recoil is way too low, I know it's star wars but you can't just let people hold the trigger down and be accurate at long distances.
-20 v 20 just doesn't look like enough people to me
-does everyone get jetpacks? I hope that's specific to a class or something. Just seems a little too cheesy to me
-I don't like that small-arms weapons can do any kind of significant damage to armor

Atmosphere seemed cool, like the got the sound effects down and that's a big part of things. Gameplay though....I don't know. I'm a little worried. Still way too early to tell what the final results will be, but it's hard to imagine a game like this not turning into a spam-fest. With the vehicles, 'power ups', and what not.

I'm hoping for the best.

I'm loving what I see so far from graphics, sound & gameplay. The fun factor is what matters to me the most especially with a star wars game & this looks to have it. I don't need a convoluted game that the battlefield series has become. Can't wait til it's released.

There are no classes. It's all loadout-based. From the leaked footage, it looks like all rebels have access to a loadout with jetpacks.

Not a fan of that. At. All. The only people who should have a jet pack in a star wars game EVER should be Jango/Boba Fett. End of discussion.

Anybody see any "heroes" footage from the alpha yet? Doubt they included them in the alpha build but a man can dream.
