Not that I've heard.

In my own news; I have 4 characters now "mastered" (Riaden, Noob, Sub Zero, Reptile) and I picked up the elusive turtle trophy last night by chance. A random sent me a PM in the middle of a ranked match looking to boost a trophy. When I went to check on it the match ended with the time running out and I won.

On a serious note, though, I think they are focusing all their effort on the Arcade Kollection right now. Doubt we will see any DLC for a little while.

What difference will this collection be from the one on xbox original. I picked up Ultimate MK 3 on xbox live and have the originals on xbox. What is the big upgrade from those two. To be honest I hardly ever play these to begin with.

So disappointed with the rumblings I'm hearing about MKAK.

Apparently the online is broken still, and these "arcade-perfect" ports are anything but. Some even saying the Midway Arcade Treasure ports were better.

Just makes me sad this was supposed to be the HDK. I've played these games before, in original and truer forms than I'm supposed to buy for 10 bucks.

I was looking forward to buying it this weekend. I was afraid of this but doubted they could screw it up YET AGAIN after MK9.

Have you played it or have you heard if the AI is crazy hard like Midway Arcade Treasures was? Idk if it was because of the Gamecube's weird button layout, but I get whooped every time on MAT

Forget the AI, the online play has serious slowdown issues:

You can only host 1-on-1 lobbies. There is no support for spectating, no replays, or anything like that. You can’t even see the name of your opponent during a match. How is any of this even acceptable? It’s not.

Especially not when Street Fighter 3rd Strike just came out last week with 8-player online lobbies, a spectator mode, a replay channel, YouTube uploading support, GGPO netcode, and so much more.

Stick with MK9 for the best Mortal Kombat experience.

Plus, it's obvious this was the HDK. The remixed menu music, the beautiful sidebars.....Just a waste of effort. I wish I didn't come off as such a *****, I loved every game in their own way...but I mean COME THE **** ON!

Man, this sucks. I was loving MK 9 and was patiently waiting for the netcode to be fixed (it's been improved, but is still bad) but that ship has sailed. Then they give us Freddy Kruger for DLC? At that point I felt like NRS (maybe it's WB behind some of this nonsense) let me and true original MK fans down.

Now the MKAK is horrible? The lag, the glitches, the lack of full screen, video/picture uploading, etc. I've starting to wonder if they are just that careless, or incompetent. The SF3 that just came out has so many wonderful options and things that MK was too lazy to add.

Sorry if my rant is hard to read, I just played the game at my neighbors and I can honestly say I've never been so upset about a set of games I've been playing for 15+ years.

Looks like the Kollection is just a cheap ROM-dump by Midway in an attempt to cash-in on MK9's popularity.

It's a shame, because these are really fun games that deserve better treatment.

Good news is Virtua Fighter 5 and Ultimate Marvel 3 will be out soon to give fighting fans more options to choose from this fall.
