Shouldn't have got my hopes up. I sort of expected it after hearing pretty much nothing about it and then they announced the release date 2 weeks ago.

At least Third Strike had some marketing behind it by Capcom, it does sound like this was just dumped out there with nothing really added to the games and the online play not being tested at all.

Maybe I should put those $10 toward Third Strike even though I am awful at the game and was never really a fan of SF3 when it first came out because I didn't care about all the new characters.

How can you not fall in love with a game that contains classic win screens such as this?

Yes I will insert 2 coins...into the arcade cabinet...and continue wrestling with the joystick.

I remember that was one of the few games I had for Sega CD. I loved it, they had their own "fatalities" so to speak. I recall one was like throwing someone into a burning fire lol.

Eternal Champions was awesome back in the day. Doubt it holds up well now.

Yeah, I had that for Sega Genesis. For some reason, it didn't grab me like MK and Tekken did.

Then they give us Freddy Kruger for DLC? At that point I felt like NRS (maybe it's WB behind some of this nonsense) let me and true original MK fans down.

The only reason I bought the Freddy DLC was to get the MK3 Sub-Zero skin. I don't even bother using Freddy. Can you imagine how happy we'd be if we were jamming with Frost right now? Like you said, the fans were let down.

Hadn't picked this game up in a few months, but a friend wanted a game he could compete with me in and said he had just been playing Mortal Kombat. What followed was me trolling the hell out of him with Striker.

So the MK Klassic stick is out now with a retail price of $130 (Boo!). I haven't seen it anywhere online besides Gamestop. Maybe I'll get lucky and someone will bring one to the MK tournament this weekend. I'd love to get my hands on it.

The Render on that pic looks really well. But there are plenty of other MK universe chars to choose from. Don't see why they need to dip outside the well on characters.
