Got the demo on the pS3, wow, I love it, much better than I thought. The fatalities aren't as hard now, they give you a bit more leeway, which I love, plus you can pause now during the FINISH HIM! if you forget the fatality. I played the demo a good 2 hours.

One question - in the demo can you do the finishing move of throwing someone into the trees using the stage fatality? I couldn't get that to work but saw it in the movie when you reach Goro.

No, in the demo the living forrest stage fatality is disabled. It should be available in the retail version though......come'on April 19th !!!!!!

I liked Deception the best....A good mix of old and new...

I love the fact they streamlined the controls of MK9...the pausing during fatalitys and fatality practice are welcomed additions..

MK Trilogy is my favorite, followed by UMK3 and Armageddon.

I liked trilogy too, but man was it a buggy and slapped together mess of a package.

Thank you for admitting this. That game... so much rage when I think about it. It took all the beautiful detail of MK2 and (to some extent) MK3 and just threw it in the trash. Might as well have been someone's copy of MUGEN. UGH.

I had fun playing it, though(and still do). My cousin and I would be up all night with it. He'd try to be slick using that cheesy Noob Saibot. I fixed his ***. Jade - invincibility - 7-hitter - Finish Him!

Yeah Ive seen that one before but I love how when Cyrax or Sektor gets hit, its a metal sound.

The sound effects are definitely VERY well done in this game overall.

Very crisp, and heavy. I love it.

I could just be glorifying it because MK:Trilogy was one of the first games I owned on the original Playstation, but what sort of bugs does it have? I played the heck out of Trilogy as well and, right or wrong, remember nothing but good.

Which I suppose is good for me if in fact I was able to overlook its flaws, and I was but a young'n when it came out, but since I'm not likely to go back and play it anytime soon I pose the question.
