They never announced a demo for 360. Don't know why people keep looking for one.

I don't see why they wouldn't. Seems like bad marketing to me, but I guess the marketing for this game hasn't been that great anyway.

Did Netherrealm ever try to advertise this new game as anything else, story-wise? It's been described repeatedly as a "fan service" game, and the announced setup for the story basically threw the timeline back to MK1 times (Raiden sends a message back in time to himself to do things differently to stop Armageddon).

On a more serious note, it is odd - unprecedented, even - that a demo for a multiplatform game would only appear on one console. I don't see what the value in doing so would be, unless Sony and Netherrealm came to some sort of agreement we as end-users aren't privy to.

On a more serious note, it is odd - unprecedented, even - that a demo for a multiplatform game would only appear on one console. I don't see what the value in doing so would be, unless Sony and Netherrealm came to some sort of agreement we as end-users aren't privy to.

It would seem they have since the 360 doesn't have an exclusive character.

I've a few matches today and I love it. I love the old school 2D format and it takes me back to my teenage years. I think I'll be picking this up.

This game is freakin awesome. Haven't had much time to play but it feels like old school MK.

I hope it's harder than the demo,

I was able to beat the AI on expert with only doing basic moves and rarely any combos..Plus the AI never used a finisher on me...Hope it's just a demo problem

I'm getting this as a party/online game anyways tho

I didn't play much of the demo, but I can say that I am horrible at this game.

Also, I haven't tried online yet, but from what I hear there is a bit of noticeable lag.
