One effective method I have used (albeit cheap/works with every character) is to cross him up a lot. You have to time his shoulder rush though, he usually attacks with it three times in a row. After ward he is open for a uppercut. Takes patience to fight like this.

Or something else I like to do with a projectile character is to create a lot of space (full screen) and he will start telling me, "You suck!" And I will just pepper him with long range attacks. Hell, he is cheap, so I am too.

I used the last strategy after awhile. Also if you can dodge that damn unblockable hammer he will be wide open for a short period of time.

That is not cheap, that is the only way to really beat him. There is noone skilled enough to fight him conventional because he is designed cheap. He can have a aura that takes damage but doesnt knock him back so he can direct hit. You have to fight fire with fire.

I absolutely love this game, and I'm not even into fighting games all that much. The story is awesome and very well done. Not much to complain about, except that I suck but that's on me. I haven't played an MK game in years.

One thing, though: EVERY TIME when I'm in the Krypt(love all the unlockables btw), that stupid Gollum looking thing pops up and scares the **** out of me. EVERY SINGLE TIME, even when I think I'm ready for it. Gives me a heart attack.

i agree. im currently playing story mode and i hope to god i dont have to play with him.

by the way, story mode is awesome. i agree with whoever said its now a must in all fighting games.

Anybody using the Street Fighter arcade pads with this or any other controller. Not really a fan of the xbox controller right now and I had an arcade pad but gave it away when I moved. They have them on amazon so I figured I'd pick up another one since I'm really getting into this as long as it's an upgrade.

I have the new xbox controller with the adjustable d-pad. It works really well for me.

Just finished story mode. So awesome. Absolutely loved it, and wish all fighting games had a story mode, and had one this interesting.

And Cyrax is so .... freakin ... awesome

Just reached Kabal, loving the story and I got a pleasant surprise with Stryker. He's a beast!

I never knew about classic Ermac or Jade but now that I know I want them too along with the other classics I don't have. Come on DLC lets get moving.

I'm just curious as to why these fighting games on current gen consoles,(despite being more powerful than legacy gen) keep being stingy with the available fighters. It's honestly starting to irritate me. MvsC3 is a downgrade as well MK now. Very disappointing.

Anything less than 45+ characters these days is a serious insult. 20+ characters? What are we dealing with here, the 8 bit NES, or the 360/ ps3 2012 ****? Gimme a break. They'll get another 60 bucks out of me when they give me my 60 characters back. Good day.
