You guys do realize a perm would mean he would have really curly hair, right?

    I'm just saying

I agree though, he looked awesome, then suddenly he was Bride of Frankenstein.

I would have liked a cutscene or challenge tower scenario of him in a hair salon getting ambushed for a fight.

Got this at TRU for 40 bucks...played a bit and taking me time to get back into fighting games (not consistent at hitting moves quite yet), but it's a lot of fun.

Worth it to trade in eventually and probably end up with close to 40 in GS credit, so not a bad deal.

This isn't Street Fighter where you have to do crazy circle motions.
Yeah, even the Xbox D-Pad works suprisingly well with this game. Stick is probably still better, but it's nowhere near as bad as SFIV was with the D-pad.

Game is awesome. So worth the 60 bucks. Feels like MK2/MK3 which is awesome because I always felt those were the best of the series before it jumped the shark for a few years there.

I see a couple post talking about babalities and the like, I thought those weren't in this version?

babalities are in the game. I only found out by botching one of the fatalities a few days after I got the game. Nice surprise.

Interesting, I remember reading an interview with Ed Boon I think it was, and I coulda sworn he said they weren't doing that this time. Go fig. Nice little bonus.

Brutalities and animalities are not in the game. Stage/Fatalities and Bablities are.

I decided to rent to try it out, but I have a question - is there no way to set up a simple one-and-done 1v1 match against the computer? I know I can use training mode and just hit select when someone's life runs out, but I was kinda hoping for the full match experience.

To my knowledge it's never been an option in any MK game, and I just don't understand why not.

Still isn't an option to my knowledge. Now that I think about it....it would be kinda nice.....
