I'm hoping MK comes to the 3DS. After playing SSFIV 3D all I want are 2d fighters on it (MK and MVC3 would be incredible!)

Lol, that's the game I bought with mine as well, and I kept thinking the exact same thing... Mortal Kombat would look freakin' awesome on this little device!

After getting to play SSF4 on the 3DS at GameStop, I completely agree. Maybe they'll port the PS3 version (if that's even possible) after release. I know for fact they haven't planned a 3DS version yet though.

i take it since this game is not in 3d that it wont have the abilty to break through stage walls and fall to lower part of stages like in MK vs DC???

that was my favorite aspect of that game and i just might buy that instead this game if this doesnt have it

The game is still 3D. It uses the Unreal Engine. It just is fought on a 2D plane.

So it is still possible.
