Well here is the reason why you cant return used games anymore

The greedy consumer strikes once again with a class action lawsuit.

I bet it is the ones who "rent" the games at these stores are the ones who made the class action suit. people who want their cake and eat it to. I guess they will go after the auto industry for selling new cars that have over 50 miles on them.


Fortunately they did not win anything, other then having the lawyers fees paid for.

I mean I dont like they're idea that they resale a returned game and repackage it as new ethier. There're getting money of me for basically buying a used game. I always thought this was a rumor but now I see its true.

how do they resell a xbox game, those have the holographic xbox tape you have to slit to open the game...PS2 games they just have to re-shrinkwrap

They both have that holographic tape. XBOX on the side, PS2 on the top like a new music cd. For that reason I never believed it but who knows, maybe they send it back to the manufacturer who then reseals it and gives it right back to them. It has been a couple of times I've purchased a brand new XBOX game and upon opening it, it felt like this case has been used again or the booklet has been fliped through. I dont know tho, could just be my imagination.
