    Re: Singularity

]Just rented this game through Gamefly. Man, I can't believe I had never heard of it until this topic. I am loving this game so far. The whole idea of time travel and the way they handle it in the game is very cool. One point early on in the story gave me a weird feeling when you went from 1955 to 2010 and the doctor had been waiting the whole time for you. It was a few seconds for me, but he had to wait 55 years for you to come through again.

Also, how far into the game am I, how much do I have left?

This game definitely fell under folk's radar, and it's a shame as it's a solid game. It's been awhile since I have played now, but I'd say you're roughly halfway through the game now.

Nice, so another good half to play. Some of these notes you find on the all are a little creepy and have me wondering a little about about the whole story.

I found it to be a worse Bioshock...which was just a worse Deus Ex/System Shock 2 but underwater so that put this one pretty far down.

            Re: Singularity

I've found it enjoyable. I am trying to beat it by tomorrow so I can send it off and then Metro 2033 will be arriving Tuesday most likely. I'll try to beat that while my Singularity is shipping back and my next game is then shipped to me.

Part of me wants to beat this game already, but part of me wants it to keep going and going because I am really into the story now and am enjoying the game more and more as I play it. It took it a little while to get fun for me. The first hour or so felt tedious or something to me, but the game is definitely worth the rent and if you are a big Sci-fi guy and love Bioshock and games like it, then you might want to go buy this too.

Yeah, that's what I compared it to was BioShock and DeadSpace (scary aspect of it). You definitely want to beat this game. There are several exceptionally kewl moments toward the end, and then the end, I personally loved it because it 'fit', which is hard to do on a time based game with alternate timelines and the possibilities for paradox's galore.

Just finished all three endings. This was one of the top endings in any game and possibly movie I have ever played or seen. They really nailed all three endings. I was going for good, but I didn't know what to do so I

The scene after the credits was also pretty smart of them to put in. All in all this game was fun. I just tried online for the first time. i enjoyed it, but I think I am going to play it tomorrow, then send it off Tuesday and wait for Mafia II while I play Metro 2033. I am downloading the Bioshock demo now to see if I might want to rent it too later on after Metro and Mafia II.

I would give this game a 9 out of 10, maybe an 8. The game started off slow, but once it got rolling I couldn't stop playing it until I beat it.

I don't know if bumping this is ok but i just finished the campaign mode on this and i think this is a very underrated game. The story is very good and as someone who looks for that i was very happy. I am not a big online player so a interesting story is what keeps me playing a game.

I picked the game up on the cheap and it was worth it, I did all three endings and i may even play this through again on hard mode to gain the achievement.

I was alternating between this and Vanquish so now with this finished i have a few others i own that i will be looking to play:

                  Metro 2033
Bioshock (Played it but never finished it)
                  Bioshock 2
                  Gears of War 2
                  Spiderman: Web of Shadows

All of these games i have picked up cheap, either pre-owned or new so i am in no hurry to play them as trade in value is already low. My main game is NHL 11 and i play games in between for a good story.

I would give Singularity a 8.5/10 and hope to see a sequel.
