    Movie Gallery closing deals

    Hey guys

Just a heads up for some of you guys who have these around your area. The movie gallery in my area is closing its doors and had one of those "everything must go" sales. All movie and blue rays were being sold for great prices and all video games were 50% off. So brand new titles such as UFC 10 were $25.

    Regular DVDs - 4 for $22
    Blue Ray Movies - $6 thru $14

    Video Games - 50% off

I bought Haze and Resistance 2 for $16 bucks. I got Haze for $4 bucks and Resistance 2 for $12.

I hear the entire franchise is closing down.

The MovieGallery here is doing the same. The funny (or not so funny) thing is, Blockbuster closed down several months ago. I don't understand why.. they've always got great business.

My buddy's girlfriend works for a local "mom and pop" rental store and they are ridiculously busy now.

Our store just completed its closing sale yesterday. I scored a brand new copy of Guitar Hero: Van Halen for 6$. Also got Band Hero used for 1$ and Baby Mama on Blu-Ray for 3$. All the good stuff goes usually right as they announce the sales because people just can't help themselves. They see 20% off and they're on it like wildfire.

Game Crazy is shutting down in my area but they have nothing good. I waited too long to scope it out.

You guys got 50% off new games?! When Hollywood closed down up here everything was still $50 for newer games. Stuff that was over a year old was $35.

For a store that has so many locations, here around Dallas they are in the most random towns. None of them are in any major towns around here, all small dinky places you wonder wtf did they go there for.
