    EA's new complex

An artist's representation of how EA Los Angeles' new campus will look.

Electronic Arts has announced that it will soon start relocating the staff of its EA Los Angeles (EALA) studio, currently located in Bel Air, to a new 250,000-square-foot facility in Playa Vista, just south of Los Angeles. EALA currently has about 300 employees -- which is an amalgamation of EA's Los Angeles, Orange County and Las Vegas/Westwood staffs, and had been the headquarters for DreamWorks Interactive -- but the new facility will enable it to have over 1,000. The new campus gives the software giant prime proximity to the Hollywood community, and will enable it to better develop such licenses as Harry Potter and James Bond, as well as its Metal of Honor series.

I think I know where that is going to be. It's On Jefferson Blvd, right off of the 405 freeway. I thought it was going to be a Dreamworks Studio, but I guess EA is apart of them. Looks pretty cool. I gotta go over there and check it out sometime.
