Because I enjoy it? These people that think you have to play a game a certain way crack me up.

I play TDM when there's no one else on or I can't get into their games. I refuse to play Rush & Conquest with people I don't know. It's hard enough when I do play and the guys in my squad are the only ones doing anything.

TDM Spawning is definitely bad but it's obvious these stages are not designed for team deathmatch like the COD games are. The fact that they are using the same exact maps made for Rush/Conquest even furthers the point.

The point is that TDM is not a strong point of BF3

You don't go to a pizza place and complain that the grilled cheese is sub-par

TDM is definitely NOT what Battlefield is made for, but (FOR ME) it provides an "option" and "this option" made me decide to NOT purchase MW3 this year... I am in favor of BF3 so much this year that I am NO NEED picking up MW3.

I agree with an above post: I play TDM when I am playing w/ people that I don't know (or haven't played with), because some of these players don't know a thing-or-2 about strategy.

*Last night I played TDM for 4 hours and had an ABSOLUTE BLAST...prolly my BEST BF3 experience TO-DATE!!!!

Are any PS3 players getting an abnormal amount of freezes/lock ups in multiplayer lately?

For the past few days, the game has frozen up on me, so much as I have to hit the power off button on the ps3 because of it. I checked the EA and Dice forums, and there are threads all over the place about freezes on the ps3. There are a lot of angry people in those forums.

In any event, I hate having to power off the ps3 when it freezes because I am sure it's aggravating the hard drive and with my luck, end up breaking the machine.

So I decided yesterday to do a full system restore and format. The format took over 6 hrs. After it was done formatting, I installed BF3, downloaded the patch and fired up a multiplayer game. Not even 5 minutes into the game, it freezes up on me. I had to power off the machine.

Unbelievable

I'm afraid to play anymore because I would think the constant powering off and resetting the machine is not a good thing.

That reminds me, two times in a row, I was using the MAV and after finally getting shot down, my dude was literally trapped underneath the map, unable to move or anything. Had to commit suicide twice

Not being able to deploy is getting old. Back to back games that I was not able to deploy in the middle of the game. I was playing well in those games too.

Have you tried to press start and look at the scoreboard then try to redeploy yet? That always gets rid of that glitch for me.

You will still see plenty of bad players on BF3 who only care about their k/d, like any other FPS. The number of players online will drop when MW3 is released, but there will still be a lot of bad players out there, it's just the nature of online gaming.

Yep. Nothing seems to work. Just had it happen again. 4th time today.

One thing I hate, and unless I'm missing something, you can't leave the game after the round is over. You have to wait until next match starts and then quit.

Yeah it is annoying having to wait until the next round starts and then back out.

Dear Random Mortar Guy,

While I appreciate you raining down mortar on the enemy. If you see that we are losing in Conquest and you can only "bring the rain" on one of the 4 objectives, perhaps if its not to much trouble you could forget about the Mortar and help the team capture an objective or two. Yes I know that from the comfort of out spawn you are virtually bulletproof and may never die, we are basically a man down while you stay in the back and do virtually nothing to help. Thanks

They are probably using flares. Which will your AA missile will go after.

For the most part, we kicked a lot of *** and were at the top of the scoreboard every game.

My attempt at flying the Little Bird in the tunnel was not a success. That video should have came with a 'Don't try this at home' label.

The other team picked up some slack the last couple of rounds. I felt kind of ******** at one point. I snuck up on their infantry tank on the final mcom. I go to press right to use some c4. I found out I had claymores... So now I couldn't run anywhere without that vehicle seeing me.

Yeah, there were a few rounds where we played against some easy teams. They didn't work together at all..
