A note to the devs for the future: never allow people to get into vehicles who don't know what they're doing. Require a training course offline and stop this crap where people get into incredibly powerful vehicles and take them out of the battle by crashing them or just not knowing what they're doing (like using a tank as if it's some sort of juggernaut and just charging into a storm of rockets). Someone thought it's part of the game many pages back, that's nuts, it's not game breaking but it does break individual rounds and all that means is lack of fun. Create a newbie pool that bad players have to SPM their way out of in order to play with the rest of us. Create some training classes that have to be passed. Do something. It's just infuriating having a team or losers who don't have a clue how to play this game and aren't just dead weight but are actively screwing over their own team.

I'm on-board with an offline tutorial for the vehicles, in particular the helos and jets. Perhaps have cheevos/trophies (and even ribbons) for successfully completing the tutorials.

I'd much prefer to relax and learn to fly in an offline situation than frustrating team mates while I crash everywhere and kill them accidentally lol.

Fixed.

VOIP...Voice Over IP. You can't chat with squad or team in the PC version of BF3. At least not yet.

hmm there's a voice chat in battlelog and I was able to communicate with my brothers when I played with them.

hmm there's a voice chat in battlelog and I was able to communicate with my brothers when I played with them.

I guess what they must be wanting then is in-game chat, not having to go thru battlelog? The vagaries of PC gaming..

IN-GAME VOIP, meaning not having to set up a party before hand just to be able to talk to them. 80% of my time with this game has been spent with randoms. It doesn't make sense that I can't just talk to them in-game, I have to minimize, add them to battlelog, create a party and then remove them when im done ( I've never done this, just saying this is what I would need to do if I wanted to talk to them).

I love the game it just seems like it took a couple steps back when you compare it to battlefield 2(feature wise). Then again, DICE has never had a stable release so my hopes are still high. If they say they're going to add VOIP then ill take their word for it.

I read that DICE didn't want 12 or 32 players talking over each other and I can see their point. You will get those players that are listening to their music or have a running conversation with someone else as you are trying to play the game. I personally don't like hearing game rage over the mic's on a constant basis.

If they want to avoid that I hope they at least implement a way for the squad leaders to communicate to each other. It will cut down on unnecessary chatter but it will allow other squads leaders to at least know whats going on. The squad leaders can then communicate to their squad.

This game has gone to crap for me for some reason. I've gone 1-12 in the last couple days in rush matches. At first I thought maybe it was a coincidence considering my W/L ratio was something like 2.6, but now I keep getting onto awful teams whenever I join, so I feel like perhaps it is purposeful.

I also have gotten thrown into games right at the end and I literally don't get time to spawn, but it still counts as a loss. I guess I shouldn't worry about stats so much, but I'm competitive and I feel like this is a big flaw in online games (it happens all the time in MW as well). I think they should adjust this so that if you don't spend more than X minutes in a match, the overall result does not count toward your stats.

Also I've been getting killed so easily in comparison to enemies. This too has been a recent development. I'll empty half-clips into guys who then turn around and shoot me once and that's it. I'm not sure if my lag has gone haywire all of the sudden or what. It is extremely frustrating since it feels like I can't do anything right. Of course it seems like I'm facing a lot more people who are all higher level than me, and that may have something to do with it--but in that regard it will take me forever to level up.

And to end my spiel, it also seems there are a lot more shotgun users now and I think they are overpowered. I haven't really used them personally but it feels like 80% of the people who kill me are using a shotgun.

I've seen alot of guys with the USAS + Frag Round combo. Really annoying.

I guess I just make dumb decisions or something, but half of my deaths are usually suicides. Fatleg has witnessed a couple of my own. I just didn't think being at 77% health and jumping off the 2nd floor of a construction building would kill me. How often does the body of a chopper fly right at me after blowing it up myself?

It happens to me too. I'll just be standing somewhere and next thing you know.. Bad Luck.

I don't even know what killed me but sometimes I am standing in fire like an idiot.
