That thing is GOLD on Wake Island. Koolie and I have found ourselves as a two man squad sometimes but with the AMTRAC we're capping MCOMS like it's going out of style. One man arms and hides the other just blasts. The only thing comparable is going IR on the tank and switching out Cannister and Main Gun. Use the autoloader and it's a constant rain of hellfire. Problem is they get taken out easier but when the alarms are going off most people are more concerned with disarming. You can rack up 5+ kills in a minute easy.

I used to think the AMTRAC was useless, but then I saw Jistic in them all the time and I started to realize why.

I was playing Rush on Tehran Highway last night and we were at the last MCOMs. We were attacking and the tank on my team was sitting back at the gas station just firing away. I jumped in the AMTRAC and a guy got in with me and I just drove like a bat outta hell and went right past the tank, right past the first MCOM and went straight to the 2nd MCOM by the burned out bus. I jumped out and armed it, then got back in the AMTRAC while the gunner shot people trying to disarm, and if he missed one or I saw someone coming with C4, I just jumped out and killed them and then hopped back in. We took it out so fast that they really didn't have time to react. They certainly didn't have time to blow up the AMTRAC before the MCOM was destroyed. Jistic is right, a 2 man squad can really take advantage of the AMTRAC if they know what they are doing and the defenders don't have their defense set up strong. If you catch them a little off guard, they have no chance.

I think for that to happen both players have to sit in the drivers seat. (Just a guess) I've also read that your armor resets if you get out and get back in, but I've never tried

I hate guys who shoot randomly into no where with vehicles. Me, Magic, and this random (I think it was a random...not sure if it was your roomate) were on Kharg trying to Rush the first set of MCOMS and we weren't doing anything so Magic gets in a boat and we both spawn on him. Magic was driving all the way to the right, which is vulnerable a lot of the time when the other vehicles are going elsewhere. I switch from gunner to the back to see if anyone is shooting us and the other guy gets in the gunner spots and starts wildly shooting at the island. I actually said out loud "No! No! We don't want to give our position away!" ( I felt kind of mean cause it came off in a bad way) And sure enough, we get out of the boat and immediately all of us are ambushed. On the killcam I literally saw like 6 guys either shooting at us or looking/running at us

I had some good games last night. There was one on Rush on Tehran Highway where somehow my tank just rolled down the mountain sideways. I have no idea how I got into or out of that situation. I destroyed 10 vehicles that round

I never understood that either. When a new game starts and I hop into a vehicle it seems that the person who is a gunner just wants to start shooting. I'm like dude, no one is there to kill. Another thing that annoys me is when I'm in a great hiding spot, trying to capture a flag, a teammate will spawn on me then proceed to start gunning, thus giving me away and getting me killed.

Definitely. Too bad there is an issue with the PS3 wireless headset that messes up the connection so I can't ever use it

I would like to get some good quality surround sound headphones to help me out. Sometimes I hear noise, but I have no idea where it is coming from. So I end up turning around in all directions trying to see who is moving or what direction the vehicle noise is coming from. Playing on hardcore mode makes it imperative many times to know where the noise is actually coming from.

Anyone use any on a PC that they would recommend?

One of things that's extremely frustrating is when the sound just plain drops out during play. It happened multiple times yesterday and I died every time it did.

For me at least, there is a noticeable difference with lag and connection issues (dropping all the time) when I use the headset

I've got a headset and I have no problem using it, It's just harder for me to focus with it on. When I can hear everything through my TV.. I play much better.

One question and one revelation:

1) Over the last 3 or 4 days I can't do a "Quick Match." This effecting anyone else? I can choose an individual server just fine, but when I choose quick match it fails and tells me to check my network connection. Weird.

2) I've finally started to get MVP ribbons regularly

The biggest difference? Actually trying to stick with my squad mates. I know...totally new concept, right? But sticking with them gives you easy revives if you are assault, easy support candidates, and also prevents you from getting killed easily in fire fights. I wish people would stick together more often as it makes taking objectives super easy.

Besides, how many times have you tried to hold off a checkpoint by yourself only to be overrun by 3 or 4 squadmates working in coordination?

I haven't been able to do Quick Matches on the 360 for almost a week. I've read something about port forwarding to fix it, but I don't know about all of that. The sucky thing is in quick matches I run into players that are similar in skill to me and the occasional noob. However, searching the server it seems to be mostly Eagles and some things that I don't even know WTH they are. It's pretty frustrating.

Well me and my team just dominated in a rush match on grand bazaar as attackers. I ended up going 43-16 with over 8000 points. Man I love running around healing people and reviving them. Not to mention defending an mcom station that is about to blow up, with the enemy spawn right in front of it.

I can't believe the way we were getting beat still.. I'm either not observant enough as a tank driver or something. They kept sneaking in on us and getting some lucky plants. I was destroying my share of tanks, though.

Same here. I don't see any noticeable difference between tv and headset. Other than giving my neck a workout. Thing gets heavy after a while.

Thanks, Chizz. You, cmorris, and jnes were definitely my nemisises! I kept checking if there was room on the OS team but nothing. I hate playing against you guys...I feel like a traitor.
