Only thing I dont like is how there is really no point to being in a squad. Its pretty much every man for himself.

[/B]-Laser Guided missiles can now be distracted by Flares. (Damn, it's gonna be hard to take down choppers once again.)

-Flares for Jets and Choppers now reload at 11 seconds again, (They sure love to favor choppers in any battlefield game)

When considered with the following, i don't think it's as bad:

-Flares will no longer break the lock of a vehicle that is locked on, it will only distract the missiles.



My question is what does "distract" mean? Does that mean it will eventually re-acquire the target (and places the focus on using evasive maneuvers after you launch the flares so your heat signature is long gone by the time the flares finish distracting)? If so, I think that's a little more realistic. But sounds like it will be more balanced for helicopters instead of jets as jets by default will be long gone.

Only thing I dont like is how there is really no point to being in a squad. Its pretty much every man for himself.

I'm no TDM expert, but when I play my chances of surviving longer and more kills goes up a lot when I run with somebody rather than on my own.

Damn, I must have been off by an hour or two last night, when I was on, only Chizzypoof was on and he was already in game.

I'm no TDM expert, but when I play my chances of surviving longer and more kills goes up a lot when I run with somebody rather than on my own.

I find i am just the opposite...being around people usually a get do one or two things:

1. Get in my way
2. Draw attention to me when im near them with those loud *** guns and get me killed

2. Draw attention to me when im near them with those loud *** guns and get me killed

Like I said, I'm no expert LOL. It depends WHO I run with. Usually I try to follow a dude and support him or clean up after him if he gets killed. But if that guy is worse than I am, no I don't work with him lol.

We should get some squad deathmatch going. Best of both worlds.

And i need 4 more wins to unlock another gun. Lol

I do agree with you there, but I concede "teamwork" is rather limited in TDM. Now I haven't played much (7 rounds, plus 11 rounds of SQDM), but in pretty much all the modes I find I do better when I stick near teammates. Especially in Conquest when I'm running around as a lone ranger, I find I do terribly.

Especially in Conquest when I'm running around as a lone ranger, I find I do terribly.

Yes, in Conquest the only times I take off on my own really are to run to resupply someone nearby when I see their 'ammo' icon, or try to revive someone nearby if I've switched to assault.

In general in regular matches, I try to stay with my squad, or at least a squad mate. In clan I definitely stick with the squad but need to continue to work on that, eliminate any LJ moments I might have LOL.

Yeah, I seem to do good in TDM with authentic, otherwise I usually find myself in dead last. I suck at TDM.

Ugh. Me and Cheesey Poofs tried this last night. We got in a squad with SIX total kills when the other squads had 30+. So next game I switched to another squad hoping he would follow but someone else joined and he was stuck in his squad and I was stuck in mine. His squad beat mine 50-49. SMH. So I quit and try to join back up in his squad because it wouldn't let me switch twice and I couldn't so I gave up. Squad Deathmatch is the worst.

Teamwork is usually limited to only 2 people I've found. Any more than 2 guys sticking together seems to result in too much unwanted attention, etc

Is there a way to jump in a game with four members from jump? Like say if Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie were full in a game and we can jump in Delta?
