Haven't been apart of any of the conversation here, but just noticed that OS has a Ps3 clan going on. Been looking into doing something like this. Is there a selection process or something like that? I would consider myself a pretty good player if that has anything to do with it.

Edit to add: Found your Battlelog page. I would be interested in joining and would be interested in clan battles. I play very team based, lots of rushing and playing objective.

No try out since you are OS. Welcome aboard. You will always find one of us on every night. We need to keep the clan talk limited to the clan message board at the top of the page.

Does anyone else just love hovering in the F35's? On Wake and Oman I'll just sit there hovering for minutes at a time disabling vehicles left and right. It's like the other jet pilots have no clue on how to stop me, which I don't understand. They just have to fly away, turn around, and go as slow as possible in a straight line towards me and one burst from their machine gun should do the trick, but hey, if they aren't going to do that, I'll keep on hovering.

Many have tried to conquer The OS Gauntlet. And many failed. The OS Gauntlet consists of 10 challenges and are as follows...

Challenge 1...
Play in 3 rounds of CQ against JNes and myself. You are to stay on foot at all times and must avoid getting your tags taken once by either one of us.

Challenge 2...
In one round, you are to get one kill on Cheeseypoofs and Paperboy...EACH.

Challenge 3...
On CQ Metro, with WarEagle on the opposing team, you are to receive no more than 3 deaths from his m320.

Challenge 4...
Get Erickonasis to play more than one round of CQ with you.

Challenge 5...
As an engineer, win a game of Cat & Mouse against Mikenoob in a tank. If you can destroy his tank you pass. If he kills you, you fail. Once again, its cat and mouse, so you are to stay on foot, but may use any tool at your disposal.

Challenge 6...
Play against Jenkins as recon. You are to pull off a MAV roadkill on Jenkins.

Challenge 7...
In CQ on Sharqi, take TV Station from JNes.

Challenge 8...
With Nemesis on the opposing team, on Grandbazaar, be able to go end to end at the hallway of B and live.

Challenge 9...two part...
A) Get Marino to get off netflix and play battlefield.
B) After completing A, ride shotgun in any aircraft with Marino and avoid death.

FINAL CHALLENGE
You will partner up with Lt. Dan in your squad.....

Run...Out...Of...Ammo.

I got more hate messages this weekend than I've gotten the entire time playing this game. I got called some bad names. Mainly they were complaing about the FAMAS. So I responded if they were mad, I'd switch to something else. I did and proceeded to work them over with the F2000. The funny thing was that one of those guys was using the USAS Frags. I had 3 seperate people (from 3 seperate games) message me about not being good and just being lucky. It is so funny that they take the time to messgage me. I told them if they spent a little more time practicing and less time messaging, they might have a chance to win.

Sounds like my kind of Player...i dont know why so many people bitch about the Famas...Its a great gun but def not OP. I'd rather get killed by the Famas rather than the other noob crap people use in this game

It did make me feel bad about using the FAMAS, I haven't used it since, haha. I know it is the most powerful gun, but I've never gotten mad when someone killed me with it. I just figured they out shot me. But the Shotgun frag rounds are a different story. They tick me off to no end. I've NEVER used a frag round on a shotgun. I don't even have frag rounds unlocked I don't guess. Hopefully the patch will balance these issues out.

Eh...I don't get worked up over the FAMAS. I have access to it and it's got a good mid-range punch, no doubt, but crappy iron sights and lots of kick. It's not as unbalanced to me as USAS/frags, which is just idiotically overpowered and 'unfair'.
