Actually, I think there's a healthy mix of vehicle vulnerability and spawn times. Vehicles just aren't as effective anymore, unless they're in the right hands. My only vehicle gripe is that there seems to be something different about the sound of being locked on/shot at in a chopper. I can fly better than ever now, but something seems different about the flares, other than their respawn time...

Happens...
I still say i liked the game better pre patch (minus the fact that there are less USAS and Mav users)
The gun mechanics before just felt "right" although i've adjusted somewhat. Havent been on in almost a week...Im jumping back on tonight and cant wait finally have time"If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

3 things that have frustrated me the most since the patch:
1. The complete removal of the "countdown" at the start. I mean, really? Why?
2. The 2 or 3 second buff after a guy spawns on his teammate. Its a little more understandable for random spawns. But if he makes the decision to spawn off a teammate, and subsequently pays for it, that should be on him.
3. The light and lasers preventing you from shooting. I'll be in the middle of unloading a clip, and my guy will stop shooting cold turkey when the the light or laser gets flashed on my screen resulting in death. Thats garbage.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
I guess I'm in the minority when the feel of the guns post patch don't really bother me. The only difference to me is the notable recoil from using foregrip on certain guns, but just remove them from those guns and it's back to normal. The other obvious difference is suppression. Pre patch I didn't even have to worry about being "suppressed" almost all my shots were on target and I could just sit there popping heads off. Post patch suppression clearly throws off the accuracy, but it's not too bad. For mid to long range, just duck and move slightly to another position and pop up to get the kill before he starts spraying again. In close range, I don't even think it even matters. The target is literally in your face and he's an even bigger target. The bullets may be off the mark, but it will still most likely hit him. Aim for the torso and it'll either still hit him there or drift off but still make contact.
I admit there are moments where I feel like it was BS and saying how did he not die, but that happens only a few times a game.
Looking at the most recent matches on battlelog and just the infantry maps (gun on gun with minimal or no vehicle influence) there are games where my team got dominated and games where we dominated them (either held back to a lone flag all game or back at deployment). Each of these games my accuracy is about on par with just about any of the other guns I used even pre patch at about 14%.

But I wouldnt think of it being much of a problem during TDM.
But depending on whether your playing Conquest or Rush, Attacking or Defending, not to mention which map your playing on, I find myself having to adjust my whole set up.
Its garbage that somebody can immediately go and arm and an MCOM or get the jump on flags just because he made no changes and Im trying to make a few here and there to be more effective for a given situation.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
I am just disappointed in this game in general. The Frostbite Destruction in this game turned out to be a farse, and trying to make 1 game for Console and PC just was not a good idea. They should've stuck to what they did before and made BF3 for PC, then made console versions of Battlefield. BF2MC, BF1943 and BFBC 1&2 were all much better balanced and fun to play.
and seriously what's the purpose of having jets in the game?Last edited by iLLosophy; 04-12-2012, 08:35 PM.Comment

I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Re: Battlefield 3
It's a different tune being sung when your on the defending side of an Armed MCOM on Rush or Spawning and seeing B flag already flashing on a smaller Conquest map like Op Metro, Bazaar and Tehran, it throws off your rhythm...Not like TDM where no matter how fast you spawn there is no real advantage...maybe a random advantage if someone were to spawn right as your running by in the beginning. That's all TMagic is saying.
IMO it was a poor addition/subtraction that isn't appropriate for all game modes.
EDIT: Now Clan battles are even more of a headache to try and orchestrate a fair start smhLast edited by PaperBoyx703; 04-13-2012, 12:14 PM.PSN: TBD

Re: Battlefield 3
Hopefully they put a timer back in. It doesn't have to be 30 seconds again but 15 seconds would be fair. Even COD has a count down.Comment
