    Re: Battlefield 3

I think PaperBoy purposely gets off BF3 when I jump on -- I mean, I suck but not that bad, lol.

Maybe I need to pay the man (Steve) to change my name to JerzeyReign on here -- goodness, just be runnin' from me!

Finally got to play with the infamous T Magic. We jumped into a couple of games with really bad teams, but we finally found our groove in this Rush match.

Let's do it again. Sorry for bailing on that last game, my wife was wanting me to watch Celebrity Apprentice and I think I was like 3 and 10 on Kharg at the time. That guy in the chopper was destroying us. So I figured I better cut my losses on both.

Boling4Humor and Nuni, enjoyed the games this weekend as always. Also, my SPM went up about 15 points this weekend.

        Re: Battlefield 3

I was able to play a little bit on Saturday night. I was playing with Chase and we didn't realize that the double XP weekend counted toward your SPM. I came to the realization when it jumped 7 points in three matches. So I can throw that stat out the window to gauge the talent of another player. I always used SPM as the most suitable measuring stick on how well an opponent PTO. All you needed this weekend was a couple of high ticket Metro rounds and you could boost your stats way up.

Anyways, the laughs of the weekend came with the last game of the night. Krazy joined for the last 100 ticket bleed and we started tank skeet shooting with ammo boxes.

Final note: My next kill is mr. 20,000. I can't believe I am stopped on that.

Yeah, SPM is basically worthless now

I think you have to look at objective per minute from now on

Last night was hilarious. I'm looking forward to Paperboy's next video, which should be titled "Sit down" or for lack of a better phrase.. "Sit down, Jnes".

I hated getting bounced from that Seine round. I went from having 25,000 points to 0 and I had lost my motivation when I got back in

Objective per minute doesn't mean anything either. Anyone could easily run around aimlessly just trying to capture objectives. No one defends on public rooms. The only true way to measure someone is to play with or against them in a competitive room.

Lol. Yeah. That Chopper was demolishing us. I noticed a couple guys on our team running around with Javelins. So I switched to recon and deployed a soflam. But not a single one of them took advantage when I locked on to the chopper multiple times.

But that was a good round of Rush we had on Canals. We'll get some more games in. Just get used to my up and down play. One round I'll be at the top, the next, I'm sitting near the bottom. Im like the Lamar Odom of Battlefield.

A lot of times it just seems pointless to defend honestly.

I dont mind sitting back and defending an objective. But it seems like whenever I do, the other objectives
end up all taken. So I end up leaving to try to give any help that I can.

For instance, this weekend, I played on Firestorm. I took the jeep and went straight to B. I played as Recon, deployed a motion sensor and a spawn beacon by the flag and racked up kill after kill. I know the other team had to have been getting pissed because anytime they came around trying to cap B, they either met my knife or my sks. I moved around constantly so they would never know where I was. If they landed up on the roof, I'd go up there and take them down. I ended up with more kills with anybody and with B in possession pretty much the entire round.

But the enemy kept control of A and C almost the entire time. I could not understand why they couldnt take control of either A or C for the entire match when I was holding down B solo. And it seems like that always happen when I try to hold down a spot. The enemy ends up with all the other objectives. It gets frustrating.

Haha. Was he tossing them from up on a building or something?

And speaking of tossing ammo...I was playing in a match this weekend and noticed a guy about 15 meters away need ammo. So I didnt run up to him, but instead tried the tossing trick to get it to him....

...I must have timed the throw and jump absolutely perfectly because it went about the length of the football field when I tossed it. I was all like "Oh ****!!" Lol

If anybody wants to have a package chucking contest, I'm down. I think thats something I can beat anyone in. Lol

Honestly, most stats in this game are over rated.

I started to buy into them and even made that new account, but I realized quickly that I just don't care much about stats. I'm in the business of trying to get my rank up, unlock weapons/attachments, and most importantly... WIN.

The only way to truly tell how good someone is, is to play with them. I know what level I'm on and I don't need any inflated stats to prove anything to myself.

TMagic, what differences do you notice about the 360 version ?

I've always been curious if they play similar or not. I don't think I could swap controllers.

Yeah I understand there's really no point in defending. You can capture one of their points just as easily as losing one of your own.

I get frustrated too when my team somehow can't manage to push up and grab a flag after being spawn camped. I would break free and take the furthest flag. At least three or four would continually come after me to defend it and I would occupy them for awhile. Sooner or later, I find myself dead just to notice my team haven't even budged from their original spot.

Also, I still want to get in a giant game of squad deathmatch ranked. I need a bunch of OS tags that took mine, but I never had the chance to redeem myself.

Man, I really wish it was possible to get some BF:MC maps on BF3. I miss playing Backstab... Battlefield has been true to it's roots, throughout every game they make. They're one series that you can always count on to deliver a quality game.

Man that gets me too. I cant stand when I break free and no one spawns on me after they die.

Sometimes I will run through, then wait somewhere OFF the burn in hopes that my teammates will spawn on me when they die, then I can have some backup when enemies start coming back after noticing its being taken. I see their name fade out, then fade back in...only to see that they spawned back at the deployment. WHY!?!?!?

I honestly dont see too much of a difference. I suck at vehicles playing on 360 because the buttons completely throw me off. Playing on foot takes a little adjustment as well. But that came pretty quickly. Its just the damn vehicles I still havent gotten used to. But thats all I've really noticed myself.

But then again, Im a noob. So I wouldn't even pick up on any little things. Lol

We should have an OS squad rush tourny. We can easy get at least four teams of 4 and we can play a round robin or something
