More good games from the 360 guys last night. Blowing up the chopper from long distance with a Tank on Kharg was the highlight of my night. It was a lucky shot and he was far enough away that I didn't realize what happened at first. I was like did someone hit my mines? Then I realized I didn't have any mines out. It just took that long for the shell to get to the chopper.

What are you guys peak times on 360? I'm starting to get back in the swing of things on Bf3 after cleaning up some storage devices to dl the latest patch. God this game is great but takes up so much space.

Nuni is correct on the "peak times". Usually every night we are able to get a full squad at some point.

The Human Shield quote is awesome. That is one of the best parts of playing Rush. When someone is planting or defusing the MCOM and I'm near them, I jump around like a crazy person trying to shield the person who is on the objective. I always chuckle to myself because I can just imagine what the guys on the other team are thinking. I just consider that good team play, if I die and we get the objective, I've done my job.

I should be on tonight, time is dependent on when the wife wants to watch Justified season premire. Raylan Givens is awesome, btw.

The Human Shield quote is awesome. That is one of the best parts of playing Rush. In a Rush battle, I'm usually the one who goes kamakazi on the other team whenever we're attacking. Wait for a good brief moment of silence from gun fire and I'll rush in letting my grenade launcher rip. Hopefully my teammates pick up on my pending death and rush in behind me. If I can take at least one or two guys, it'll open up a chock spot so we can continue rushing until they take the spot back.

Plus I run around healing any and every fallen soldier I see. One thing I love about this game is the need for team work.

BTW, I'll be on tonight but I usually take turns with my lady. She loves to play Close Quaters Deathmatches. I usually play whatever. So if you see me popping in and out of your party, you'll know why.

I've been known to take bullets for someone trying to plant or defuse.

The OSers are typically pretty solid at rush. We win most of our matches.

I haven't played any conquest in a long time.

Conquest sucks. I don't mind playing conquest every once in a while, but it's just more boring. If you play on Firestorm or Caspian Border, the action is just slow paced. It's fun, but there are plenty of games where I go 5-3 or 8-4 and I felt like I just ran a lot from objective to objective and didn't really get into many gunfights. In Rush, everyone knows where the other team is going to be and I just like the action involved. Feels more like a sport with offense and defense than conquest does. Just feels more competitive and engaging to me. I'm sure reasonable minds can disagree.

I kinda agree. Rush just feels more like a team game. Whereas in Conquest, depending on the map, you're solo more times than often unless you hitch a ride. During those solo moments, you can definitely have dead periods where you're searching for a fight. I usually play Conquest just to get a vehicular combat fix. Still learning how to navigate the chopper.

Although, some Conquest games where you have some sort of communication and teamwork are a blast to play. Nothing beats parachuting out of a chopper into the battlefield, tryna take out targets on the way down.

The only conquest rounds I really enjoy are the CQ (Metro, Siene, Bazaar).

I also like CQ on the Aftermath maps.. they are well balanced.

Rush works well with most everything because even on the large scale maps the action is still brought to one main focal point. It's just a matter of which team can blow through the other or stop them.

I think one of my favorite matches for Rush came on the PS3. I know Jnes and Chizzy were in there, but I can't remember who else. We smoked our way through the majority of the match and pushed outside into the street and two people had mortars with smoke and I was firing smoke grenades everywhere. There was absolutely zero visibility anywhere on the main street.. it was insane, chaotic, and hilarious all at the same time.

That other team had no idea what was going on. You would run right past someone before you even saw them.

Similar story but yesterday while playing Rush on Metro, it took till we were under 100 tix left out of 500 till I decided to break out the smoke grenades. We were getting manhandled before that. As soon as I started popping smoke grenades everywhere, we started plowing right thru their defense. Its hilarious watching the defense scramble like roaches when their line of sight is taken from them. Even stole me a few dog tags in the process.

Yeah, you seem to last like one game of conquest, if that, with me before I check and see you're out and playing Rush somewhere haha.
