Mouse and keyboard controls are easily better and more precise than any console controller. But they do require a different level of finger dexterity.

Of course you got the WASD setup.

        Index on D
Bird on W - Which also works the S
        Ring finger A
        Pinky on SHIFT
        Thumb on spacebar for jumping

Now you can access all the needed controls with very little movement of the left hand. Q and E are normally lean controls on most shooters so your ringer finger would be for Q and index for E. Then your index also can reach F and C , while your pinky will work SHIFT and CTRL which is generaly for sprints and crouches.

Now the key with keyboard and mouse movement is that all the aiming and "head movement" is done with mouse. So your left hand is technically just controlling where you go or "how" you go. But you can implement the mouse into the control scheme to make it easier, hold W to move forward and roll mouse left or right to make your turns.

There is no way to truly "describe" how to work the keyboard + mouse controls. It comes with practice and muscle memory. I started gaming on PC over a decade ago and have developed on first person shooters for so long on mouse keyboard that even when I type my left hand rests in the WASD setup

My finger placement is about one over to the right so my middle finger sits on "D". Would explain why I always have issues with games that feature CTRL as crouch and offer no toggle.

Phobia nailed it..I have the Phenom that I could game on, but I have the computer setup for other things, and therefore utilize the basic onboard graphics card.

It really is fun to play with a mouse though..whole different animal.

                      Downloaded it.
Went through the nonsense with the website and downloading some stupid game manager.
Couldn't get it in full screen and turned it off.
Tried again and was instantly brought to a "Your team lost" screen.
Tried again, got it in full screen.
Tossed into the middle of the game not knowing if I should shoot the green guys or blue guys. Green guy shoots at me. I kill the green guy. TEAM KILL! Then I get killed from the side or behind or whatever. Then remember this is why I don't play online and uninstall it after yet another fan-tastic online play experience.

So when's the single player demo coming?

Nice! The highest I've gotten to is about 4000. I always have more deaths than kills, but I like doing the objective anyways.

Getting a little more easier now. Finally got a positive K/D ratio Have to go to college but will practice more later. Hopefully tonight we can get a little OS gathering and have a match together.

No prob man just stick with it. It will come in couple weeks.

Wow that is fonky. So what does your index finger control? Also does your pinky work the A?

I highly suggest moving hand position to like I stated, it will help not only on your skill but also on hand cramping.

I bought the Z-Fang which I moved to couple years ago. It is not needed by any means but will help you reach more buttons in a shorter time frame. Plus the buttons are placed in a little better layout.

I am sorry goh that just sounds whiny. YOU shoot someone because you don't know what you are doing. Then another guy who might not of known what he was doing shoots you and you bail and uninstall. In the words of my military buddies and in spirit of the game "Sack up"
