Re: Battlefield 3
I have to get this on consoles since I suck at FPS games on PC. Absolutely terrible.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
Precisely how I feel. If it graphically looks the same as BC2, I'll be happy, because I'm more interested in the game play upgrades. In terms of console, I was very happy with BC2 graphically.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
I agree also plus if you run a game at 60 frames you have to degrade in other areas to make it run proper. As long as you have a steady 30 frames then it should be fine. I have enjoyed the Resistance games and they run at 30 frames and have always been a pretty smooth experience. Too me it is not a concern at all as it is the standard in mostly all first person shooters on consoles."If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

Re: Battlefield 3
NICE!
no more sub-machine gun wookies! they are now true recon, distance players. Also, I like how it has the assault with med kits to support "other front line players". That makes more sense than seeing every other idiot as a medic. Also makes for less noob tubers as assault must choose between GL and medical supplies. Also instead of medics up front reviving like idiots, they can be back a bit providing suppressing fire. Wow. what a concept.
Well done Dice. this game could be amazing.Last edited by Klocker; 06-23-2011, 10:49 AM.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
I'll probably go the "Support" route. I love helping out in fights and leaving ammo for people.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
Yeah it all depends what you play with the most. Me I grew up with consoles for years dating back to atari, colecovison & intellevison. When controllers became more advanced over the years it took time to get used to things such as analog sticks triggers and such."If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

I'll probably use the Medic kit for the Assault class and the Support class the most.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
Consoles version will only run at 30fps......
Been confirmed by Dice
Speaking on Twitter in response to fan questions, DICE's Johan Andersson said: "We always do 30 fps on consoles, not possible to fit in vehicles, fx [effects], scale and all players otherwise."
60 FPS was one of the things that made me salivate most about these videos. I knew all the other BF games had 30 FPS, and I was simply hoping they were making the upgrade this time. Guess it's just possible for PC. Shame, that might make it a pass for me until I can upgrade my computer.
EDIT: I'm not saying I want them to make other visual sacrifices to make it run at 60, I was just so impressed with the PC stuff that it was what I was hoping for with the consoles. Guess beggers can't be choosers. I can't blame the developers for this, it's simply the limitations of consoles.
