I expect it to look good on the consoles, but no where near as good as the PC. Build first and foremost on the PC, then scaled back. So the PC is going to shine!

Gonna build a new rig specifically!
My rig is ready since I built it early July ! Even got 5.1 surround sound setup so I can rock with this when the house is empty. What headphones would you recommend? Logitechs G35 went down in price and its mighty tempting.

Found the youtube version and 360 version looks good as well! I will be getting both PC and 360. I need to collect my friends dogtags on 360 and total 64 man chaos for the PC.

Hey Goffs, what kind of rig do you have? I'm building my computer from newegg in a few days but I left out the video card (the MB has on board video) because I didn't plan on using it for gaming. However, that might change as BF3 get's closer.

Right now I am actually in the market for a pair myself. I have some decent regular headphones, but I am wanting to upgrade to some 5.1 or better ones.

The sounds of sniper fire whizzing by your head actually has you ducking with a pair on!

There is a good thread here, I am going to read through...

I've been saving up since last summer so I've been adding funds to it because each time I was about to pull the trigger I've been advised to wait since this and that was out next month. So through adding funds to it for two years it went up to 2 grand. I was planning on building my rig around Bulldozer but that got delayed and I just got annoyed at that point and decided to build.

I ordered almost all of my parts on Amazon and took advantage of the free shipping and it was also tax free. (for some)

          System Specs:
          Intel Core i5 2500k
          2x EVGA GeForce GTX 580
          Western Digital WD 1TB
          Cooler Master Hyper 212
          Crucial RealSSD 64GB
          650D Obsidian Mid Tower

these I ordered off of Newegg
          G.Skill Ripjaws 8gb
          ASRock Z68 Extreme4

oh if you like Batman Nvidia is doing a promotion where if you get a card you get Batman Arkham City on PC for free! which sucks for me but maybe good for you!

The above 360 videos, evidenced the same realistic players movement, differentiation of weapons recoil and sounds, as well as a lot of dust/explosions/grabage effects ... thus it also evidenced the graphical drawback, in respect of the PC version, in the lightning effects and other little details (such as the character faces and the 2nd plane background and even on the 1st) ... all this besides considering the announced drawback of the videos quality.

Anyways, despite the noticeable difference, is still a console version must buy game for me.

I'm hoping I can run this on my laptop with at least medium settings:

                i5 @ 2.9ghz turbo boost
                GeForce 540M (1gb)
                Ram = 6B

Dang... I preordered the game for the Xbox 360 but want to play it on the PC as well. I want to know if my laptop could run the game well. If my laptop can run it then I am getting it for the PC.

                  Specs:

                  Core i7 2630QM
                  6GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M 1GB Dedicated DDR5 VRAM

Would this be good enough to play it?

I think yall will be blown away with what we have accomplished here. Running it at 5700x1080 reso isnt optimized yet, but that isnt a mainstream set up. Cant wait to see you all in beta soon!

I saw this I might check it out. I already got Deus Ex shipping with my AMD processor. Not really my type of game, but hey can't hurt.

Not even, I am new to the PC game and just got this laptop. I know I can run the game, most systems can but I am wondering if I could play medium to high settings with the set-up.

Here's my current build: (The parts in brackets are what I'm going to be upgrading too once I have the funds, which should be in the next week or so)

                            CPU: e8400 3.0ghz, overclocked to 3.8ghz (Upgrading to i5 2500k)
Mobo: Gigabyte P35-D3SL (upgrading to MSI P67A-G4)
                            RAM: 4GB of DDR2 800mhz (Upgrading to DDR3 1600 8GB, possibly 12GB)
Video Card: XFX Radeon HD 6870 Dual Fan 1GB DDR5
HDD: 120GB OCZ SSD + 650GB WD Caviar Black
                            Heatsink: Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus

Everything else doesn't really need to be mentioned. So hopefully, by the time my upgrading is complete, I should be able to run this no problem.

Because its open, I'm going to download the beta to my PC as well as the 360, but its probably not going to run that well on the PC and I'll probably be going 360.
