    You'll enjoy BF then.

I play COD also- HQ, Domination also. 7th prestige.

HQ is probably the closest you can get as far as team based gameplay comparable to BF.

I think the absents of Killstreaks helps the teamplay more than anything. You aren't subconsciously worried about getting your killstreak high to launch the SR-71 and then making yourself look awesome. So you focus more on the task at hand then your own well being and self-worth.

I also must say I hate using a keyboard for gaming but I love aiming with the mouse.
TBH 64 players over 24 is good enough reason to play PC version.

And in intense gun battles the precision of the mouse is almost critical to survive.....this is debatable though....

Just went to GameStop and saw their most recent shipment came in. I really wanted to ask if they could hand me one right now but knew they wouldn't. To be so close but have no chance was killing me. Tuesday can't get here soon enough!

Just so everyone is aware. This statement is not entirely true.

PC version ONLY 64 player mode is Conquest.

Rush mode is 32 player on PC, 4 more per side or one squad per side.

If you're a rush player there isn't really much difference. If you're a conquest player then it will be MUCH better, a lot more action at ever CP.

Conquest is a little boring to me and a little too meh.

Rush is where it is at for me.

Cannot wait to get this game on Tuesday.

More players and larger maps give it way more scale and war feeling with vehicles, jets, etc. There will be better physics for the buildings, etc.

                  And KB/Mouse > controller IMO.

And I like the battlelog integration.
Once you get used to the KB/Mouse you'd be hard pressed to go back to controller IMO.
Also if DICE releases thier build kit like they did for BF2 you'll get tons of MODS etc.. for the PC version.

After talking with two CSRs at Amazon, apparently the $20 credit was a special one day only credit for people who ordered the XBOX360 version of the game yesterday between 18:00 PDT and 23:59 PDT. If you were one the lucky ones, you got an email today from Amazon awarding you a $20 credit as soon as the game ships.

They just changed it. Had tons of complaints. Amazon issued this statement.

                      Hello,

We wanted to provide some clarification regarding our $20 pre-order credit offer for Battlefield 3.

All customers who pre-order Battlefield 3 for PS3 or Xbox 360 will get $20 in Amazon credit good toward the purchase of items shipped and sold by Amazon.com (certain exclusions apply, including gift cards, Kindle books, MP3s, and video rentals and downloads.) The promotional code for the credit will be e-mailed within two (2) days after the product ships. This offer will be extended to all existing pre-orders. Offer valid when shipped and sold by Amazon.com, while supplies last. Limit one per customer. Amazon reserves the right to change or terminate this promotion at any time.

Thank you for your continued support.

Downloaded today 11.665GB or so (iirc)... special edition pre-order through Origin. Only took 20-25 minutes to download... was getting 11-13mbps, peaking sometimes at 20!

Can't play until the release day dammit... SOOOO CLOSE YET SOOOO FAR.
