Re: Battlefield 3
Thanks for the vids. It looks a lot cleaner than the beta. They did a lot of tweaking.Last edited by Chizzypoof; 10-23-2011, 02:28 PM.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
Will the SP campaign act as a good tutorial getting used to the gameplay and objectives? Also, will it help learning the controls of the vehicles (jets, tanks, etc.)?PSN: bronk14Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
The multiplayer aspect comes with practice but you can learn the basics in the campaign, the more you play, the better you get! It's a lot of fun with a squad, just have fun!NFL - Giants]

Apparently there will be no private servers on the consoles at launch. This is causing quite a panic on GameBattles.Comment

Here's something kind of funny I found that should keep us entertained until Battlefield 3 launches.

Re: Battlefield 3
I'm thinking of going to the midnight release at my local BB, but I have class all day Tuesday so figure it would probably be a waste.
At this point I just want to get this paper done so I can devote some time to the game.
Also does anyone know if they will release map packs for the game and at what price point? Honestly those map packs for COD at $15 a pop seemed a tad overpriced.Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
It will help for vehicle controls more than likely, even if it doesn't I'm sure you can set up your own private matches and practice with the vehicles on your own.

I've been gaming on the XBOX since the early Ghost Recon days and enjoy FPS. I never got into the Battlefield series before so after looking at some cool videos I'm jumping in head first. With that said, there seems to be a lot of going on during battle. There are objectives (orange/blue icons), jets, jeeps, tanks, etc. that it seems daunting at first glance. It's not like COD where if you know how to shoot and learn the maps you're good to go for the most part. Like anything, the more you practice/play the better I'll become but are there any tips I should know about? I don't want to let my team/squad down by being noob and not helping the team because I don't know how to fly a jet or man a tank. If there is a way to practice this I'd love to work on those skills. With so much action going on I want to make sure I'm the best teammate I can be for my squad. I look at the videos and all I see is a bunch of orange and blue dots on the screen in mass chaos.
Thanks for anyone that can lend any tips before launch.PSN: bronk14Comment

Re: Battlefield 3
Any of you guys have room for one more in your clan? I played a lot of "Battlefield: Bad Company 2", but I think I think I missed out on a bit of fun because I NEVER played with any OSers.Last edited by DavonBrown; 10-23-2011, 06:39 PM.Comment
