I messed around with it as a sniper...as long as nobody notices you it's good because you don't have to steady your scope. But if you're spotted, you're a sitting duck.

Yeah, I'm worried about being a sitting duck. Thanks for the reply.

I'm just now getting used to the chopper controls. I still have a hiccup sometimes, but for the most part I fly pretty well.
And here is the problem: by forcing players to learn difficult/touchy controls while on multiplayer servers teammates are being screwed over. See that guy struggling to keep a chopper level and staying in the air but having no effect on the battle? It is effectively a one man advantage for the opposing team and infuriating to captain learn-on-the-fly's teammates.

I'm goin to try to host a OS party Saturday. Idk what time but it's really up to ya guys. I'm good when ever. I can get our own server up as well if we get enough people. It needs at least 8 to start. I'm thinking afternoon after the games. Hope to hear back from you guys and all of us getting into a game together. Its really easy to do as well.

Hope to get 24 people on from here and fill the server up. It be really fun.

            360 btw.

I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

You know what I kind of enjoy during conquest? When the other team keeps their jets and helicopter near your aircraft spawn point so they can just keep destroying it. Gives us a 3 man advantage on the ground, and if the helicopter comes back, I can just blow it out of the sky.

I wish there was some way to tell how long we played per specific day. Think I've played for about 3.5 hours today, but I can't really remember how long I had played prior to today.

This is exactly why I chose to learn the ins and outs of jets/helis by playing in a server where there weren't even enough people to control all the vehicles. If you go into the air without flares on any normal game by now, you're dead within 5 seconds. The only other option is to fly low to attempt to avoid lock on, but sometimes the landing gear pops out when you do that.

I shouldn't have to do that to learn this part of the game, and I totally agree with you.

I know, I am going to call and ask of they have an ETA. May be a bit cause of all the downed lines. And I see a lot of downed fiber optic for miles on the long woodsy roads that feed my town.

Jonesin' to get back to playing with you all!!!

                                I revive too much.
